A tour de force behind the decks, SONYA has emerged onto the DJ stage over the past six years in a fusion of beats and glamour that has seen her grace some of the biggest venues in the world today. Whether it be playing at the most anticipated event of 2022 in the UAE - EXPO DUBAI, opening for Bruno Mars at the DU Arena in Abu Dhabi, or DJing for the launch of the world's largest observation wheel AIN DUBAI, there is nothing that she can’t turn her hand to. 

That reputation as an exciting talent on the DJ scene has also given SONYA the opportunity to join the biggest Radio network in the Middle East, VIRGIN RADIO, for their famous FRSH Friday Show. Other notable performances include being chosen as the official DJ of Christian Louboutin in Dubai, and a remarkable summer residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

SONYA’s timeless sets are creating vibes that are now her calling card. Known for her strong programming, passion and integrity, she's considered a perfect fit for the world of high fashion and luxurious events which has seen her booked by brands such as PRADA, Yves Saint Laurent, Louboutin, Hermès, Fendi and many more.

All of that attention has allowed her to pursue other commercial avenues which have seen her appear in the pages of Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Gulf News and Emirates Woman. Never one to stand still, she has also featured in several commercials, movies, television programs and stage works for brands such as Warner Bros, MTV and Tommy Hilfiger.

SONYA’s career as a DJ and her love of fashion has established her as a prolific social media identity; she is regularly called upon by media outlets to use her unique understanding of rhythms and in-depth knowledge of music, fashion, and pop culture to promote their work. She is also the first woman from her region contracted as a brand ambassador for both NIKE & Jordan. She is often called upon by the Jordan brand for collaborations at their major events. In 2019 she was appointed as a DJ and content creator for Jordan during the Sole DXB lifestyle festival in Dubai and in 2021 she created a mix for the Jordan show during which 600 drones formed the JUMPMAN logo in the air at Dubai Frame.

Where electronic music is concerned, Zeisha has already earned her place as a mainstay in New Zealand’s burgeoning industry. Voted best DJ in the country by DJANEMAG in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, the multi-faceted talent shows no sign of slowing down. 

A DJ, producer, vocalist and songwriter, Zeisha discovered her eclectic sound through her exploration of Electronic Music and found herself quickly rising in the ranks in the previously male-dominated scene. 
From shows at some of Australasia’s most iconic venues, including Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Trustpower Baypark Area in Mount Maunganui, she even released a debut self-titled album - which was award nominated and toured China.

Not content with staying local, Zeisha’s first taste of the bigtime came when she supported international-ly acclaimed producer TroyBoi on The Mantra Tour, travelling across eleven cities. 

Her hard work has never gone unnoticed, and she was rewarded with a number of ambassador roles with revered music and lifestyle brands, including Pioneer DJ and Audio-Technica.

The future looks bright for Zeisha; in 2020 completing a successful first headline tour of New Zealand which saw sell-out shows across the country and has played shows at New Zealand’s biggest festivals Rhythm & Vines, Northern Bass. In 2021, playing a myriad of shows across the country supporting Alison Wonderland, Wilkinson and Dimension plus festival shows including Bay Dreams, Soundsplash and North Island’s Mardi Gras Ohakune and South Island’s Mardi Gras Queenstown. 

With 2022 festivals underway, she has shows planned up and down the country. Zeisha has her sights on success in America and Australia.
