Badyn Holesgroveis a South African folk-acoustic singer-songwriter from Amanzimtoti KZN, now hailing from Greyton WC, known for blending introspective lyrics with soulful melodies. Fitz, who claims to have "a lot to say, but not in bios," draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of musical influences, including Simon & Garfunkel, Death Cab for Cutie, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Chevelle, Ray Lamantagne, and a host of other rock, indie, emo and acoustic artists ranging back decades. His music reflects an emotive storytelling style, resonating with fans of the indie and acoustic genres.
While still building his catalogue, his creative ethos shines through in his personal and authentic approach to music, often echoing themes of connection, introspection, and the human experience. HIGHWAY JAM
Highway Jam is a South African blues-rock, funk jazz-fusion band that was founded by Durban-born surfer/muso, Mike Meiring, in the early 1990s. It emerged from the shady streets of Melville, Johannesburg, as a blues-rock/garage-grunge band with a strong surf culture credo of ‘living life to the fullest and partying hard’. After changes in the line-up, and since having added jazz-fusion and world elements to its style, Highway Jam has been pushing a ‘music for music’s sake’ agenda in a variety of genres. Its overriding focus has been on freedom of musical expression and artistic creativity.
