The raspy, bone-chilling  singer/songwriter Priscilla Momah fuses a unique blend of Soul, R&B, Folk and Hip Hop weaving together ballads that uplift, empower and activate self love through mantras, lyrics, and poetry. A Minnesota native now based on the Big Isalnd of Hawaii ties in her West African roots to showcase and explore her diverse experience as a young, melanated, free-spirted Queen. Priscilla uses her platform as a musician and activist to bring diversity to the music scene through interactive music experiences. Her most recent series titled Queens Rising creates an outlet for an eclectic group of female talents to come together to elevate, network and share their offerings. Her music and nature as an artist delivers a higher purpose that cultivate community and unity.

I feel this thing we're doing with Kukuau Studio is a path that was put before us & ya, someone needs to occasionally bushwhack to keep it clear, but it's still a path & no person put it there, it was shown. We're joined with others on their path & happily walk together often. A creative force with a wide range of skill sets to bring a whole new level of artistic intensity to the belly button of the world.

Our goals and objectives:
 From 10 am to 10pm, practically every day of the week, Kukuau Studio is looking to have a full line up of music lessons, performances, holding creative space, live video & audio recordings, motivational speakers, black box theater, film screenings & private parties. All to help inspire the community to feel the magic awaiting inside themselves in this newly renovated warehouse in the heart of downtown Hilo.
 
There are few art spaces on the Big Island where people can feel free to create & bring their creative energies together with other likeminded people. One of the biggest goals we have is to fill that niche.

Bub Pratt has been a music instructor specializing in guitar for 20+ years. He has created or helped create several gallery/studio art spaces & many art installations while working with the city of Bremerton WA., the Amy Burnett Gallery & Mary Doyle Studio to name a few from 2003-2010 . His eye for art & design, love of Jazz music, sharing with the community & open, good natured personality with a gift for networking, give him the experience & the vision to navigate this endeavor.

The Oceanographers is a musical project with the ongoing mission to bridge the gap between knowledge and faith. Two worlds that often seem at odds with each other are both so important right now. The Oceanographers is a call for people who value knowledge to be open to Christ, his miracles, the spiritual, and the unexplainable, and, a call for people who value faith to be open to caring for the earth and be advocates against destroying creation. As I’ve grown in my faith, I find it disheartening that many followers of Christ don’t value taking care of the earth... and as I’ve grown in my respect for knowledge, I find it very sad that people of science don’t see the overwhelming testimonies for the miracles God does in our lives. This project is meant to bridge this divide between these two viewpoints. If you feel called to this mission, you just might be an oceanographer, too.

ALOHA AND WELCOME TO MY MUSIC PAGE. My name is Gerald. I'm a guitarist from Hilo, Hawaii. I have recorded several music projects. JAZZ FUSION, TRIP HOP/CHILLOUT, ROCK GUITAR and recently an EP with my new band GREEN FLASH HAWAII. I am proud of the Jazz Fusion Project.
