Michael Muzikayise Cele, born August 12, 1994, in Johannesburg’s East Rand, South Africa, is the hip-hop/rap artist Flipthebag. Known for his trap-infused sound and raw lyricism, he reflects township life and resilience. Since 2014, he’s released Fallen Soldiers (2020), Nothing Was Given (2024), and Fallen Soldiers 2 (2025), with singles like Uyakhumbula Yini (feat. Thobeka Mncwango) and Back In Blood. As founder of Getto Music Monopoly and Bag Media Group, he signed female artist Thobeka Mncwango and collaborated with Gawdmc, Wizard98, and Fabian Doskii, solidifying his influence in South African hip-hop.
