Radio Pública de Castilla-La Mancha en el que semanalmente la música
contemporánea tomará el sentido de sus propios protagonistas y autores a
través de 60 minutos de radio, en los que podremos disfrutar de sesiones
exclusivas o grabaciones en directo, que nos harán conocer la visión variada de
un movimiento inclasificable, que se deslizará en un camino que surca desde los
sonidos club a las propuestas más experimentales, comentadas por los
selectores.

The Dutch artist, who is born and raised in the south hideout of the Netherlands, has been fueling the scene with incredible work over the past couple of years, with his own releases and as the head of his own imprint: EMERALD. Hard-hitting techno with a solid groove characterize his work.

In her aspiring career, beginning at age 16, Lindsey Herbert has continued to drift towards the trippier realms of techno, constantly honing her craft as a DJ and getting involved with the thriving scene in San Francisco. Fast-forward to 2022 and Lindsey has truly become a recognized name in her city and beyond, in large part thanks to her unique signature sets— true journeys that explore alternating soundscapes laced together by dark, deep and heavy textures, as well psychedelic elements and ethereal melodies; and now her ever-growing list of original productions as well. With tour dates that have brought her to international venues playing beside top name DJs, she is an artist to watch.

Lindsey’s hard work over the years has paid off, gaining her residencies with San Francisco’s Robot Ears for six years, and more recently becoming the newest member of Direct to Earth in SF, as well as earning a spot on the roster of Berlin-based agency, Point Collective back in 2016. She has played coveted gigs in Detroit, Chicago, Athens, Istanbul, Mexico City and throughout Germany, as well as her debut in the legendary Tresor Berlin and Gate Club in Batumi, Georgia.

Lindsey’s debut in the production realm was in September 2018 with a remix of Martyn Päsch’s track ‘Sacred’ on KVLTÖ Records. Her debut solo EP was released in 2019 on LA-based label Ascetic Limited with a remix from Motionen. Her latest releases came out between late 2020-present and consisted of her single ‘Lucid’ on NECHTO Records, ‘Dark Matter’ on Planet X, ‘Vertigo’ on Rave Code, ‘Until We Meet Again’ + a remix of Gabriella Vergilov’s ‘The Love Anthem’ on Chicago’s Northern Parallels, a remix of BRÄLLE’s ‘Feathers for Bones’ on Märked Amsterdam, a remix of Motion Symmetry’s ‘Aquarius’ on No Way Records + a remix of Kota Kira’s ‘Candlelight’ on Re:Mission Entertainment. In 2021 Lindsey released her first track on vinyl, a remix of Nate Manic’s ‘You Will Not Ruin Me,’ and additionally she has her first solo vinyl EP on the way in September 2022. On the way is a single on Crisis of Man, a remix of Rhombic on Arido Records, a remix of Joshua Calleja on Northern Parallels, a solo EP on Planet X , + much more!

Holding much of a hobbyist approach to electronic music until his teens, Whitley was nothing more than an average listener, perhaps only separating himself with a more experimental outlook on music. After he began integrating into the Glasgow techno scene Whitley's electronic music interests began to expand. 
Honing in on rough, Birmingham-style tribal techno, his attention was quickly drawn to the old school sounds, which naturally led to many hours spent online, building up a collection of 90/00s techno, and eventually venturing into the realm of trance. 

As one of the Voight-Kampff collective’s founding fathers, Whitley's role within the collective has been responsible for the aid of launching VK, as well as his solo career, into much deeper territory than Glasgow soil.

Esta semana, el 808 Basic Mix lleva el sello de uno de los nombres más auténticos y comprometidos de nuestra escena. Desde Toledo llega Synthxx, un artista que lleva toda una vida orbitando alrededor de la música electrónica.

Su historia empieza entre cintas de casete, buscando el reto de cruzar sonidos a mano, y termina —o más bien continúa— en cabinas míticas como las de Orbital, Family Club, Industrial Copera, Florida135 o Isla Tortuga, donde dejó huella como residente del proyecto Reaktive.

Esta madrugada de domingo, en el umbral entre la noche y el renacer del día, el 808 Basic Mix se convierte en un espacio de introspección sonora.

Recuperamos en exclusiva un live muy especial de Iñigo Medina M4, grabado en la pasada edición del Dantz Network Congress, una actuación que encapsula la esencia de un artista que vive y respira la música desde sus raíces más profundas.

Desde San Sebastián, Iñigo Medina, también conocido como M4, nos ofrece un universo sonoro que fluye entre el dubtechno, el ambient y el electro, trazando una línea invisible que une la melancolía con la esperanza, lo analógico con lo emocional.

Amante del hardware, de los sintetizadores con alma y del detalle que susurra, M4 ha colaborado con sellos como Redsonja, Slope Point o Avantroots, y ha compartido escena con nombres como Sebastian Mullaert, Frank Bretschneider o Suso Saiz.

Esta semana, el 808 Basic Mix tiene nombre propio: Kaxtelian, el alter ego de Domingo Dark Vinyl, que llega celebrando el lanzamiento de su primer vinilo en solitario.

Un EP con seis cortes más dos bonus en digital que se mueve entre los breaks contundentes del electro, la energía del UK hardcore, el pulso del techno, las raíces belgas y, por supuesto, el sonido valenciano más genuino.

Sonidos nacidos entre Albacete y Badalona, dos puntos que se funden en una visión ecléctica, personal y descaradamente bailable de la pista. Una obra con carácter, pulida hasta el último detalle, donde se nota el sello de un productor obsesionado con el sonido, con el ritmo y con la estética.

Aprovechamos el momento del lanzamiento —y lo confesamos— para pedirle que firmara esta entrega del Basic Mix. Y, como siempre, ha respondido con técnica impecable, criterio afilado y mucha personalidad.

Hay artistas que, cuando vuelven, lo hacen como si nunca se hubieran ido. Esta semana, en el 808 Basic Mix, recibimos con los brazos abiertos a un viejo amigo de la casa, alguien que forma parte del ADN de este espacio.

Vuelve el mexicano DJ Windows 7, el selector que más veces ha firmado este mix, y cada vez lo ha hecho con una propuesta distinta, arriesgada y profundamente personal. Un auténtico explorador de la pista, del sonido y del alma.

Su estilo se mueve entre lo improbable y lo inevitable. Siempre con esa mezcla de ironía y sensibilidad que convierte sus sesiones en pequeños manifiestos sonoros, cargados de referencias, giros inesperados y una narrativa propia.

In 2019 he  started his own Imprint Non Reversible Structures to push forward his vision and signature sound. His set‘s have a constant deep and driving mood to them with an organic texture and fluctuates between hypnotic rhythms, dark mind-blowing emotions with hard hitting Industrial percussions.
