An electronic music duo from Macedonia, currently based in Skopje. The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within.

The ancestral way of thinking has always been 'binary'. To understand nature and all its phenomena, we made a world of oppositions (day/night, sun/moon, male/female). Where the law of "all or nothing” rules, there is no in-between. But the reality is indeed always more complex and more interconnected than what our 'perception' of the world suggests.

This perception beyond this “all or nothing” connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they've decided to do a project that will connect their somewhat different but similar taste in electronic music.

Their melancholic, delicate and hypnotic sounds use 'binary thinking' as a motor to press on to a third term or a higher category that represents a transcending reconciliation or unity: where thesis and antithesis are always harnessed to yield a synthesis. Where seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary: Yin and Yang.

Currently, they are exploring the vast horizons of deep and hypnotic soundscapes, intending to create their unique blend of creativity to start releasing their music.

Much more than a DJ, she is a unifying element of music herself – merging people of different scenes, as the music she plays does exactly that. Even more than 15 years down, for her, this is the most important reason for still loving what she does. A passion, that manifested over the years in psychedelic, hypnotic sets at Berlin's influential locations including Sisyphos and Mensch Meier. She enjoys immersing herself in the electronic and psychedelic vibes playing at the most amazing festivals, such as Mo:Dem as a resident, Boom, Ozora, Masters of Puppets, Waldfrieden and Bucht der Träumer Festival, to name a few favorites. Not only in the founding of the connecting platform xXETEXx, but also in every single event, there is real lifeblood, audible and tangible. Whether you find her in front of or behind the decks.

Typically for Josephine, she simply loves good music - across the boundaries of genre or bpm. Which makes her AYJO project the perfect complementation for her to inspire the crowd with a psychedelic twist. Expect the unexpected!

About Niemand & Keiner

German Version:
Niemand & Keiner begegnen sich erstmals 2011 – aus zwei Geschichten wird eine und aus Freundschaft lebt der Sound weiter. Zwischen den Genres Deep House, Melodic Techno, Indie Dance und Tech House verbindet Niemand & Keiner seine Gegensätze: Episch flächige Bässe treffen auf verspielte Melodien, 4/4 Takt  trifft auf Downtempo bis hin zu treibenden Sound, neues trifft auf altbekanntes und jedes Set folgt dem gemeinsamen Plot. 
Musik ist mehr als Schwingung, Musik ist immer auch Raum. Aus diesem Grund gestaltet Niemand & Keiner immer wieder Räume, in Clubs, auf Festivals oder einfach im Park nebenan und erzählen auch auf diese Weise ihre Geschichte - von einer Zeit, in der Open-Airs noch spontan und kostenlos und Rave noch politisch war. Und die Welt geht in Resonanz – zuerst in Berlin, dann europaweit und international. 

Doch wie jede gute Geschichte, so nimmt auch diese eine Wendung – Niemand ist fort gegangen, Keiner ist hier geblieben und mit „Niemand & Keiner“ lebt der Sound weiter.

Niemand & Keiner first met in 2011 – two stories became one, and their friendship gave life to their sound. Between the genres of deep house, melodic techno, indie dance and tech house, Niemand & Keiner combines its opposites: epic, expansive bass lines meet playful melodies, 4/4 time meets downtempo and driving sounds, the new meets the familiar, and each set follows a common plot.
Music is more than vibration; music is always space. For this reason, Niemand & Keiner repeatedly create spaces, in clubs, at festivals or simply in the park next door, and in this way they also tell their story – of a time when open-air events were still spontaneous and free, and raves were still political. And the world resonates – first in Berlin, then across Europe and internationally.

But like every good story, this one also takes a turn – Niemand has gone, Keiner has stayed, and with Niemand & Keiner, the sound lives on.
