This is a "cover" of Byrne and Barnes' "Standby Lover." Check out the original song and the entire "An Eye for An Eye" album! They're really awesome. I can't call this anything else but a "cover" but I still feel like that's not really an accurate description of this track because there are no vocals, the style changes up here and there, and most importantly: I literally never seem to get past the first phrase of the original song lmao. Also, there's an original chord progression of mine (inspired by this song) at the end so uh... yeah idk, I guess I'm gonna stick with "cover." Enjoy!
