Gene Ristic Born Johnathan Decoy Adams in Chicago, 1990, Gene Ristic debuted in 2020 with his first single “Mood” , & founded his own scrappily label to distribute his music, Futuristic Entertainment. That same year he would go on to release his self titled EP “Decoy” ; With sounds like “No Negative Vibes” resembling Chicago natives theme such as foot-working ; As he told fragments of his life long story. 2021’s “Untitled ” a minimal-yet-plentiful single was a response to many attempts of his career and livelihood (During Gene Ristic Show). On Halloween of 2021, Gene deliberate & expeditiously delivered the moodily produced “E.G.O.”, which took shots at mental illness & family trauma in American capitalism; While underlining his artistry & progress in spite of it.
