This mix pays homage to the roots of jungle drum and bass, referencing some reggae and dancehall classics. But like culture is constantly evolving, the track selection is fresh, featuring sounds and styles growing in new directions. Reggae artists sampled include Barrington Levy, Bob Marley and Althea & Donna, with hot new productions from the likes of Bou, Lens and L-Side. In the second half, be prepared to venture out on a limb to experience the new sounds of grime jungle from the likes of Mozey, Trigga and Serum.

Summer 2023 - Radio FM 4 La Boum de Luxe - Guest Mix

IN2IT plays music from his home base in the West Kootenays, Canada.
He plays a wide range of dance music with a sharp focus on DnB/Jungle.
With over 20 years of DJ performance experience, and a classical music background, IN2IT finds therapeutic value in the sharing of his favorite artists and tracks through the storytelling art of mixing music.

 This mix is a showcase of what is fresh and hot in the jungle and DnB scene in September 2023. It starts off with hard jungle sounds, showcasing some fire tracks from DJ Hybrid's new album and from the newest offering off the Future Retro London label. The mix progresses to drum and bass and highlights an artist new to my library, CRVTCH, with two mature and deep dnb tracks off his latest album. Later you'll find two beautiful vocal DnB tracks that meld together almost perfectly - from Sub Focus and Ill Truth. The mix finishes off with several "artcore" selections from the junglist geniuses of Mineral and Neekeetone.

It’s been a decade since the inception of Digital Motion, a Vancouver based events and lifestyle brand with a strong presence on the West Coast of Canada which has become home to a healthy community of passionate music lovers and audiophiles. Over the last 10 years Digital Motion has hosted hundreds of International artists, delivered countless memorable club nights and shows while creating a home base performing platform “SUBculture Saturdays” and most recently "SUBculture Sessions" live streamed events for many of Vancouver’s finest talents in the electronic music scene. With the release of “Test Of Time” the main project goal is to give the spotlight towards members of our core crew that produce and break the mold that we’re more than just an events and lifestyle company now. This release signifies where we are headed in the future with more music releases and entertainment offerings. Our collective is made up of some very talented producers that are on the rise on the west coast and we’re honoured to be able to put together this body of work for our fans and new listeners. This first official music release invites music lovers to dive deep into some exciting, never been heard tunes produced by a handful of official Digital Motion’s own with all funds received from purchases going straight to charity.
