The Berlin-based duo Africaine 808 – comprised of Nomad and Dirk Leyers (half of the Closer Musik project) – have been challenging the norm with their distinctive flavour of West African bass, rhythms and samples mixed into moreish disco and house tracks. It can quite simply be summarised by their "Africaine 808" name.

In early 2016, they bring their feature length debut, Basar, to New York-based imprint and partymaker, Golf Channel – home to Mark E, Juju & Jordash and DJ Nature. Basar's twelve tracks demonstrate how well Africaine 808 have perfected this intercontinental blend, with "Balla Balla" being a standout hands down. No more than a few seconds in, and we're already way, with something tribal lying at the root of its funk. An uplifting, instant crowd-pleaser for any sweaty dancefloor.

Brothers Mark and Mickey Horsey have been making waves for a hot minute. Releases on some of the most respected young labels in the game have seen the house music duo’s profile expand at an alarming rate. But it’s their latest single and our Debut Transmission today on Solardo’s Solä imprint that everyone’s been waiting for.

Having seen its radio debut as part of Jamie Jones’ Essential Mix recorded live from DC10 in Ibiza for BBC Radio 1, Love You has proven to be a solid club favourite. Backing that up is support from the likes of Richy Ahmed, wAFF and label head honchos Solardo, who have all been playing the track all through the summer.

Production duo Mark Richards & James Eliot aka Solardo are the next to make their mark on Hot Creations with ‘Tribesmen’, delivering two heavy-duty cuts destined to stir serious heat in the club.

Already doing the rounds worldwide at the hands of some of the biggest names in the business, ‘Tribesmen’ and ‘Psycho Girlfriend’ are built straight for the dancefloor around dense and heavy basslines, punchy percussion and prominent vocal slices.

Hailing from Manchester, Solardo are continuing the city’s rich heritage in house music whilst carving out their own sound in the house and techno scene with releases on Madtech, MTA Records and more recently Of Unsound Mind. Their string of successful releases has gained them an army of fans across the board from Jamie Jones to Jackmaster. The pair also run a weekly radio show on Rinse FM and are residents of the well known Kaluki party as well as running their own successful event series, Solardo Sessions.
