“Seconds (Remastered)” resurge como un corte hipnótico y cuidadosamente restaurado de la mano de IK86, parte del tríptico introspectivo A.K.A., donde el productor alemán recupera tres piezas profundas originalmente publicadas bajo sus alias Zumbador y Yellow Page.

Lejos de una nostalgia vacía, “Seconds” se siente como un eco lúcido del pasado: pads nebulosos, una línea de bajo persistente y una arquitectura sonora que invita a perderse. El track avanza con una sensibilidad cinemática, casi fantasmal, dejando espacio al silencio como parte del ritmo.

Con más de una década de historia, este remaster no intenta modernizar lo que fue, sino devolverle su alma con mayor nitidez. Es un ejercicio de memoria afectiva, un puente entre identidad artística y madurez técnica.

“No quise rehacer nada. Solo escuchar de nuevo con otros oídos”, comenta IK86 sobre este proceso de reencuentro.

“A.K.A.” es una declaración de persistencia estética y emocional. No hay artificios ni gestos grandilocuentes, solo sonido sincero que resiste el paso del tiempo.

Hungary-based artists Heaven INC. and Ákos Győrfy team up for a standout double A-side release, Fall To Pieces / Arrakis, on Francesco Pico's esteemed Magnitude Recordings.

The release opens with Heaven INC.'s original Fall To Pieces, a dreamy, melodic progressive house cut that blends lush atmospheres with emotive grooves. Ákos Győrfy follows up with a deeper, more introspective remix, offering a nuanced take that dives into the subtle side of the genre. The release closes with Arrakis, a collaborative effort between the two artists. With its rolling basslines and hypnotic drive, it's a peak-time progressive weapon destined for dance floors.

After in all 9 EPs and one album the Traum artists Ryan Davis and Microtrauma have joined forces to record a new EP together. 

They're opening track "Harmonia" is a track with a great choice of variables and a skilled and artistic form of shifting and moving them within the track. The result is a loose and unpredictable track which has gigantic, sonic moments. At times it takes out the beat and pulsates along not loosing any of the intensity, the contrary is the case... with each free minded passage the track gains more depth. "Harmonia" is a tremendous piece of hypnotic techno with an gripping arrangement.

"Calendula" starts rather introspective and silent but undergoes an enormous transition which puts it in a league with some of the best gentle pieces of melodic techno around.
It is hard to wrap up in words how the track moves to totally different corners music wise within its eight minute ride but for all of you who know Ryan Davis and Microtrauma you will have expected something like this to happen.

Dubspeeka has remixed "Calendula" in the style of a raw and heavy grinding techno track that is invaded by sounds that come and go in perfectly timed intervals.

"Philomela" rounds up the EP and is night crawler of a track that skillfully works with a broken beat and a carpet of orchestral sounds that later are joined by darker ones to create an overall gloomy atmosphere.
