“Want” is the seed of every change. It’s that small but powerful word that turns a desire into a direction, an intention into a path. It’s the moment you recognize what you long for and name it, opening the door to everything that can follow.
The “want” is the starting point: a desire to rediscover oneself and a personal expression born in a moment of inner rediscovery. That’s how “Want” came to life, the original piece by Toshka, capturing this emotional journey in music.
From there, the track found new life through the hands of three dear friends. The first is Miss Evelyn, a Greek DJ with whom I’ve built a wonderful friendship over the years. With her progressive tones and ritualistic melodies, she’s given the remix a strong, evocative character.
Then there are BLVKCAT, the Bulgarian duo of Martin Dimov and Alex Sawyer, who are taking their first steps in music production with great enthusiasm and creativity. They’ve left a unique sonic imprint on the remix, a blend of tribal energy and modern club culture.
Together, we’ve created an EP that’s truly a crossroads of friendship and creativity, where each remix tells a piece of the journey.

Foggyswoggle is a creature born out of the depths of psychedelic electronic music. This bog-trottin’, swamp-walker crafts hypnotic grooves that will leave you in a trance, with bass that rumbles you from the ground up, and back again. Influenced as heavily by UK Bass music, as by psychedelic styles, Foggyswoggle creates a very tasty blend that will make your mouth water. 

He is also the label manager/curator for Techgnosis Records’ new dark imprint, ‘NOX’. This part of the label showcases the nighttime sounds of psychedelic techno and all its derivatives. 
Many of the tracks in this mix are featured in Foggyswoggle and Papi Gonzo’s compilation for Techgnosis, entitled ‘Swamp Seance’ which you can find on their bandcamp…

Techgnosis Sessions 017 - Foggyswoggle [CA]

Here's the recording from my closing set at beats&such festival this past weekend. The set was taking over from a techhouse act and so the mix eases into psytech, peaks on the more techno side and closes off with the beautiful new remix of one of my all time favourite tracks @smilkmusic's Secret Friend by the incredibly talented @axonmusica. The crowd then asked for an encore and I obliged, but I edited out the silence and left the encore in.
