神に捧げる舞を意味する言葉です。

僕が途中まで作りかけてた曲にスペトラ2名が日本で受けたインスピレーションを吹き込み一つの曲となってリリースに至りました

We are super happy to share with everyone the artwork of our upcoming release titled "Kagura", featuring our dear friend and colleague from Japan, the mighty Shogun himself Shiro Transcape aka i-460, coming soon on our home label, TechSafari Records.

This track was inspired by our tour last year in the land of the rising sun, where we had a wonderful experience, meeting a lot of beautiful people and amazing places, so instead of putting our gratitude in words, we decided to express it in our favorite language, the music!!!
shout out to our Japanese Fam for the great memories, this track is for you!! we miss you and cant wait to meet again soon 😃

Although it's called No Ring, the first track of maud's self titled debut's chorus certainly has a ring to it. The glimmering open sequence breaks quickly into who maud believes can put on the North while respecting who has paved the way. His playful wordplay consistently builds with every bar.

With a west coast flare, the second track of maud's EP features braggadocios lyricism while he imagines what it would be like buying the old Bentley Continental of former NBA star, Scottie Pippen. It was on a used car lot in a neighboring city to his and although a 60 thousand dollar finance would have put him in the drivers seat, he knew he would spend that in repairs.

The third track, @ Labels, is a no holds barred against the shady industry that puts most artists on. Maud shows us that he knows his way around a contract and will ensure that he won't get shammed in his music career.

The Affection Freestyle's toxic instrumental is coupled with top tier lyricism and is the result of a one take session with his engineer Jordan Metro at Centreline Studios.

Eyes Closed V2 touches on what maud plans to do immediately after finding success either through rap or higher eduction. With a confident hook and gnarly second verse this track is an experience from start to finish.

The closer on maud's EP is gritty with a slow burn of wordplay throughout. Using this as the finisher to his first release, the last line tells the world how he feels and what this EP is striving to do for his career.

Erica Ehm is a good friend of the podcast. She was kind enough to sit down with hosts Gregg Tilston and Karim Kanji a few months ago to help us think about our podcast differently. Out of that brainstorming session came a segment called, Lost Venues.
