Jérémie Herreman’s new single, Retour en Avion, is officially out now on Magnetic Magazine Recordings. The release marks a clear step forward for the French producer, whose foundation in classical piano and years of focused studio work have shaped a sound that’s melodic, measured, and highly intentional.

To support the release, Herreman has put together an exclusive DJ mix made entirely of his own productions. It’s a rare look into the world he’s been quietly building. While many artists use mixes to showcase range or pull club-friendly tracks into a set, this one feels more personal. Every selection is his, and nearly all of it is unreleased. Born and raised in Tokyo and now based in New York City, Alice Iguchi is a rising force in the global electronic music scene. 🇯🇵 Blending deep house, organic techno, and Afro-oriental textures, her sets are a hypnotic journey of warm grooves, tribal rhythms, and soulful ambiance. 🎛️  With an ear shaped by years of eclectic listening ═ from jazz and UK rock to Massive Attack and Motor City Drum Ensemble ═ Alice’s sound is both refined and deeply emotive. 🎺

Alice began her musical path playing guitar in a teenage rock band, later discovering her love for electronic music in college. 👩‍🎓 Drawn by the creative energy of New York, she relocated there in 2017, quickly embedding herself in the underground scene. 🎬 From intimate house parties to renowned venues like Brooklyn Mirage, House of Yes, and Elsewhere, she has captivated audiences with her distinct vibe and immersive sets. 🎚️

For episode #114 we have the pleasure of hosting a staple in Ottawa's underground music scene.

DASA is a local Ottawa DJ/producer who got started with music playing bass in progressive metal bands while growing up in the 90s. His influences draw from a wide range of sounds that filled his home growing up - including disco, rock & roll and heavy metal. 

DASA is a multi-genre artist that aims to seamlessly blend light/dark through warm, playful, and always sexy soundscapes with the goal of bringing people together, making them move and making them feel.

He is the co-founder of the House of Kink and SpaceCamp - two of Ottawa’s premier community dance events/raves, both of which aim to capture the essence of some of their favorite festivals, creating welcoming experiences where people feel free and safe to dance, express themselves and make genuine connections. 

He has graced the stage at several nightclubs across Canada and festivals including Summerdaze, Black Rabbit, Front Republic, and AIM.  🔉

For our nineteenth Chapter, Atapy leads the charge with the powerful Redub EP. He is joined by three talented horsemen from the label ranks: Javier Orduña, Malbetrieb and Luis Leon.

It's all about quality and not quantity for Atapy, with previous key releases on his own Cimelde label, Bedrock and Get Physical.

‘Redub’ is a powerful club cut that builds around heavy, dubby Detroit stabs bound to hit home on the dancefloor. Meanwhile, bonus edit ‘Redub to Space’ takes the original and softens it with a cosmic edge.

New Chapter 24 family member Javier Orduna (also a member of the Jeudi, Culprit, and Moda Black clans) applies a bombastic touch with driving arps and interweaving synth lines.

The release is rounded off by two quality turns towards techno from the label cavalry. 

First, Malbetrieb delivers an epic, melodic reinterpretation. Finally, Luis Leon steps up with a sophisticated, killer rerub that bears listening to time and again.

The divine apocalypse? Maybe not, but with Atapy at the helm, these outriders are certainly bent on cosmic musical conquest.

Born in Adelaide, Australia, now Based in Berlin, Juliet Fox (check out our interview with her here) was brought up with a musical background, studying guitar and piano from a young age. Matthew Anthony is the founder and main operative of the LA based label Perfect Driver (established in 2011). The label has been one of the hottest in the underground scene while also receiving support from across the dance music spectrum from Claude Von Stroke to Chris Lake to name a few. We chatted to him and he described trying to make the track "raw, funky, and dirty," and we think he fully delivers in booty-approved "Perfect Driver" fashion.

Bad Boy Bill is a Chicago native that has the unique skill of both production and true turn-tablism. Being apart of the Chicago dance music community as a DJ since 1985, Bill has heard a plethora of house music and is one of the best in knowing what is innovative and pushing the music scene forward.  He teams up with We Jack Head-Honchos GettoBlaster aka Paul Anthony and Zach Beltz.
