Exploring her fascination with the power of storytelling through song. From musician to DJ and now Producer, she has been fortunate enough to study the art of music and strives to give tribute to her South-African roots.

With her unique use of frequencies and her obsession with ancient compositions, her music is known to provoke emotions and physical reactions. For Chanel, music is the gateway into the depths of one’s soul, and as an artist, her passion lies in providing a soundtrack to accompany every listener’s adventure.

Her studies in composition, sound engineering, and live performance provide her with a comprehensive understanding of sound whilst using this methodology with intention in her performances and productions. Her obsession with music from around the world fuels her constant desire to delve deeper into understanding the science of sound.

Flanko’s type of Techno, is loaded with powerful drums, driving basslines, hypnotic arpeggios, and remarkable melodies approaches a space between warehouse and festival sound.
Well known in the berlin club & underground scene, Flanko is a part of the berlin dj culture and played on countless legendary lost place raves aswell as in couple of the best clubs off berlin like Sisyphos, KitKat & Ritter Butzke to name a few.


Flanko gained the support of heavyweight producers such as:
Township Rebellion, Teenage Mutants, Alex Stein, Stoked, Patrick Scuro , NoNameLeft, Clap Codex, Sabura & Heerhorst & Karim Alkayhat and many more.
He shared the stage with amazing artist like UMEK, Alex Stein, NoNameLeft, Dirty Doering, A.D.H.S., Patrick Scuro, Clap Codex, Konfusia, Sabura, Dennis Rema, Jose Bonetto and many more.

He entered the top 15  Beatport-Hype Charts,Top 39 Beatport-Main Charts, as well as Top 19 of Beatport - Release Charts with his very first release “Skarabeos” signed by the label Animarum.



He set his artist name in memory of one of his closest friends who nicknamed him “Flanko” back in the days.
