From deep and organic house to indie dance and progressive. One of the main Russian electronic labels, Highway Records, celebrates its 15th anniversary! 

Founded by Mike Spirit in 2008, the label has travelled a long way from the Moscow underground scene to the world's dancefloors, gaining the respect and recognition of the industry's leading players, winning the love from fans of quality music at home and abroad. Highway has played a significant role in the development of the Russian electronic scene, becoming a home for many talented artists to realise their creative ideas and a platform to promote their music. 

Year after year the label continues to discover new names and broadcast its own view on electronic dance music, emphasising on quality, not chasing fashion and trends and remaining always up-to-date. Musique de Lune closes out a successful second year by welcoming Rod Notario to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Rod Notario first emerged in 2020 with a contribution to 3rd Avenue's 'We Are The Future' series. Immediately noted for his nostalgic progressive sound, the Buenos Aires resident would go on to record an EP for Antrim's Strangers Beats, a release which would firmly establish Rod as a new artist to watch as 2021 began. Further success came across the next two calendar years, with an EP for long-standing Serbian imprint Balkan Connection being the highlight. Now, embarking on the most anticipated release of his young career, Rod adds Musique de Lune to his resume with a two-track showcase entitled 'Unknown'.

'Juicebox Music's 73rd release welcomes back foglight for his debut 2-track EP featuring "Reformer" & "Circuit Valley". The Lebanese artist made his initial appearance on our imprint through a special remix of ARTN's "Lopos" earlier this year. Better known to his friends and family as Gerome Mouawad, as well as having success under the name 'Gerome' in the Trance community, his new alias 'foglight' aimed to explore the deeper side of progressive while still experimenting with his technical wizardry. Having released on Mango's 'Mango Alley', Paul Hazendonk's 'MNL', Jelly For The Babies' 'One of A Kind' & Bondarev's 'WARPP', foglight's discography showcases his focus on quality over quantity. For his latest offering on our imprint, foglight delivers "Reformer" & "Circuit Valley", a pair of club-focused tracks with tech-inspired drums, gritty bassline sequences, subtle melodics, granular fx & a whole lot of finesse.

Label-boss Praveen Achary returns to Juicebox Music for a special appearance after his small break from producing. Striving to create something that sounds different from the norm & different from each production, Praveen's work on Juicebox Music has always had a slight edge, whether it's his remixes of Simos Tagias' "Black Swan" or Eric Lune's "Wooden Bird" or even his "Fiasco" collaboration with Aman Anand. Praveen Achary's re-envisions foglight's "Circuit Valley" to create a collage of moments from hypnotic to groovy, chunky to driving and dark to light. '

Following the release of Francesco Pico's fourth studio album 'Perpetual E-Motion' which was released in the summer of 2023, we are planning to release a handful of remixes on Magnitude Recordings in 2024.

The first two remixes are done by Kyotto and Around Us, two known names in the progressive house scene, and two personal favorites of Francesco who selected them personally. Their reworks for 'Stay Ouf Of There' and 'Perpetual E-Motion' will for sure gather nice support and love from the global prog community!
