Budakid is back on Exploited with an impassioned 2-tracker. A regular at the Gardens Of Babylon events, Budakid has honed a distinctive shade of heartstring House and Indie Dance which has touched labels such as Permanent Vacation and Berlin's Watergate. Here, he delivers 2 travel tickets for 2 disparate trips.

'Infinity' is a journey in the truest sense of the word. Through an effervescent bass sequence, clever filter control and kinetic drum work, Budakid generates consistent motion from start to finish. Euphoric melodies are layered as the track gathers lucency before a wide open breakdown renders a patch of interstellar drifting. Distant snares snap overhead as the bass sequence courses into focus, reeling the listener back into the pilot's seat toward a vibrant conclusion.

'The Curse' then illuminates some gooey, 90's memories. Nostalgic chords are given buoyancy by snappy, Bicep-esque breaks and a pair of synth lines that are braided together - tumbling over one another as they carry the tracks energy. A sense of contrast and tension imbues the groove throughout another voyage that's guaranteed to soundtrack many memorable dance floor moments.'

More fresh talent debuts on Watergate Records to continue a strong 2024, as we welcome Moullinex △ GPU Panic to the fold.
 
Created in 2023, Lisbon-based duo Moullinex △ GPU Panic are producers, DJs, and live performers, who've been dropping several strong releases on their co-headed label Discotexas last summer and are anticipating a slot at Sonar Lisbon. But more than that, the pair craft divine vocal-laden cuts that float the delicious divide between electronica, indie dance, and house. 
 
Their debut on Watergate Records is as sumptuous as we’d hoped. The title track is an exultant journey, as sun-dappled beats, uplifting chords, and GPU’s transcendent vocals fill the air. ‘Ar’ is equally glorious, made for the incoming outdoor party season or a weepy dancefloor occasion, it hits deep with sweeping synth layers and delicate rolling beats that gradually build in intensity throughout the grand nine-minute jam. It's uplifting in every way.

Magnetic brilliance is the key when creating phantasmic music designed for the deepest dungeons of the abyss. Garance wields the baton in front of the rouge orchestra and twenty electronic entities arise from the ashes and balance on a wide-angled platform above Universo. The world below is full of slanted creatures that writhe in hypnotic fumes, and none are quelled until the rest of the music presents itself. Universo is joined with Hypnolabo, Acting (with Karla & popsquiD), and Figure De Proue. Together these four forces comprise the masterful configuration that Garance has forged for the Tulipa gardens.

Callousness bequeaths fortune. The Hampshire Effect. A shaded grove grown specifically for scanning. Here he rests, inquisitive. Candelabra therapy. The geometric bluster. Doctor of 'things galore' left behind smells of needles. Freight... and that last second before the transfer. A neighbor passed thrice upon the fuel-soaked doorstep. When stable. Nested guesthouse. Striking flames in the middle of the grief-stricken streets. The mourning pond. Me and music go together like prunes and dandelions. A little more than empty but a little less than antsy. Carve an angry moon.
