It was a pleasure to be invited to be part of this beautiful remix of one of my favourite downtempo songs; 'Teardrop' by Massive Attack, reinterpreted by Marco Dily with a gorgeous revocal from Aminu. Released in 2025 on one of the worlds best Afro and Melodic House labels Redolent Music, I took my remix in a deep and groovy direction, making full use of the famous vocal in the breakdown but keeping the focus firmly on a late night dancefloor, where you feel the bass move you hypnotically while the emotional chords and unforgettable melody uplift your spirit.. After the release of their successful collaborative EP "BREED" last year, Nicole Moudaber and Skin (Skunk Anansie) now welcome a slew of today's top artists for a special remix package.

Originally born out of Nicole and Skin's desire to fuse their rock and techno backgrounds, this is a true for a collaboration project with a difference. On this package, we see the likes of Jamie Jones, Carl Craig, Scuba, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot, and more deliver their unique tastes on tracks such as "Someone Like You," "These Walls Are Made Of Water," and "You Like This". "BREED The RMXS" is the latest incarnation of Nicole and Skin’s collaboration since the original project’s release. The pair have since been sharing the stage with each other at high-profile slots such as Space Ibiza and Coachella, with the original EP accepted into at Grammys for consideration - the remixes ensure that there now is a version of each track to fit into any set.

Today, off the package, we exclusively premiere the Fur Coat remix of 'Organic Love'. In taking the original EP's most "conventional" "techno" track, the Venezuelan duo takes the track into a more dark, dramatic affair.

For its fourth EP of the year 2017, Curiosity Music highlights Kevin Mark’s talent. This young Irish-Dutch DJ and producer composed three rhythmic and hypnotic tracks resolutely designed for dancefloors. In a typically techno-minimal style, his productions inspired his friend and neighbour Joop Junior, but also the Japanese duo SUDO, who had already collaborated on ‘Vanishing’, a previous EP by Hc Kurtz.

Vamos Art - Kreuzberger Nacht (Ryan Dupree Remix)

'Kittball Records co-founder Juliet Sikora combines with fellow label favourite Flo Mrzdk this August as the pair deliver ‘The Get Down’, whilst Pete Sabo steps up on remix duties.

Following a debut appearance as part of the label’s ‘Kittball Konspiracy Vol. 3’ back in 2011, Dortmund’s Flo Mrzdk has since established himself as one of the imprint’s core artists, contributing towards numerous compilations and two full EPs to date. Joining him is label co-founder Juliet Sikora, who arrives fresh from recent outings on Green Velvet’s Relief and Cajual imprints and Beatport topping collaborations with Return Of The Jaded amongst many. Here we see the two combine once more following their ‘U Can’ EP in 2012, whilst Austria based producer Pete Sabo (Bunny Tiger Dubs / Spinnin’ Deep) turns in a dynamic and melodic remix on the flip.

Flo Mrzdk & Sikora’s title track ‘The Get Down’ reveals a slick, rolling production that combines bumping bass licks and shuffling hats with intermittent vocal hooks and rich chords throughout, whilst Pete Sabo’s interpretation sees the focus shifted towards driving oscillating synth builds guided by heavy, regimented kicks and the original’s infectious vocals.'
