Frankey is the alias of Frank Beckers, also known as one half of the Berlin duo Frankey & Sandrino. They have notched up a series of stellar releases on labels such as Kompakt, Innervisions, Diynamic or their own label Sum over Histories - and Frankey now drops a his second release on Poker Flat Recordings - the fantastic Sing-EP. 
Utilising almost two decades of production experience, Sing is a supremely assured track - a thick, infectious groove exhibiting nuanced sound design while fragments of piano lead the subtle melodic development. It’s got class written all over it. 
Satellite is cut from the same cloth - Frankey’s attention to detail particularly in the mix makes for a dancefloor track that is both laser sharp and deeply affecting - the drums knock while the chords and effects take the track into space.

A true son of Berlin, Nico Stojan has synthesized the city’s hedonistic, tripped out soul into a sound that is instantly recognized as his own. Just as likely to be found playing epic sunrise sets at Burning Man or producing mesmerising tracks over a cup of green tea in his Berlin studio, the co-head dog of Ouïe (along with Acid Pauli) always provides a wide screen take on underground dance music.

With the Cardano EP, Stojan contines on the path of mind expanding house grooves - the title track is a nine minute exploration that uses a few sounds in a subtle and intricate way to create a psychedelic dance floor burner that seems perfect for those sunrise moments.

The digital release also features a beatless version of Inhale, offering another take on the track alongside a stripped down version of Cardano.

Canadian producer Waxman’s debut EP of 2020 comes on Balkin Connections sister label BC2. It features three dancefloor-ready tracks that work just as on headphones at home as in a club.

We are very happy to welcome Sam Hopgood on our label with his fantastic deep and organic EP Lost Tapes. Sam Hopgood is a producer and DJ based in Melbourne, Australia. Sam's music can be described as deep, powerful, organic, emotional and groovy.

Sam has also performed live and played alongside Melbourne's best talent, supporting international heavyweights such as Apparat, Henry Saiz, Guy J, Thomas Schumacher, Sebastien Leger, Anthony Pappa, Steve Mulder, Darin Epsilon and Quivver.

For us and you he crafted this fabolous and inspiring deep organic EP with 2 amazing tracks, both featuring a deep and natural vibe crossing genres from deep house to melodic techno.

Lost Tapes kicks off with a deep and pumping kick and SFX. High synth lines and percussive elements and smooth Hi Hats give the track it's groove. Deeper synths establish a wonderful spiritual atmosphere. Deep synth bass grooves drive the track forward. All in all a wonderful eclectic journey to start off your organic deep house set.

The Nomad starts off a little faster, but also features a beautiful deep vibe set by the kick, smooth hats and deep synths and basslines, flagged by percussion and a wonderful flute melody. Various synth progressions and progressive pads with vocal FX and flutes drive the track forward. An amazing saw synth sequence and synth arps come in waves to give the track movement and suspense. Building itself up with an oriental synth melody the Nomad finds it's break in an amazing setting, where a powerful saw synth progression drives the beat as well as short set hats, into a mesmerizing groove. An epic spiritual track and a must have for every organic set in any direction. This one works well with deep house, melodic techno, and also progressive house.

The first REGENERATION DAY back in May was a huge success with Mooglie's release picking up more than one million streams and counting on Spotify as well as being supported by Austin on Spotify ‘crate diggers’ and Bandcamp, so it very much succeeded in its mission to support and highlight the most exciting emerging artists from all over the world in these difficult times.

Kate Zubok is an underground Paris based DJ and producer who hails from Ukraine. She is obsessed with cosmic sounds and flying chords and has played all over the world alongside the likes of Bedouin and Black Coffee.

She opens up her EP with 'Inner world' featuring soft hang drum sounds and delicate tinkles on a piano, then gets more physical with the elastic beats and complex harmonies and melodies of her hypnotic 'Bubble Gum.' Last of all, 'Is It Worth It?'/'СТОИТ ЛИ?' explores distorted synth sounds and eerie vocal loops that are utterly spell binding as they unfold on a heady, airy groove.'
