"EP number sixteen, called ‘Abyss EP’, comes from the Greek trio Symmetric & Future of Matter. This obscure collection of tracks with a melodic touch, goes the most towards a techno EP from the label so far. Especially because the three originals got strengthened by two great remixes of respectively bastinov and VNTM.
The EP starts off with the title track ‘Abyss’. This is the most obscure track of the EP. It got a raw and heavy lower part on which some frightening, atmospheric and almost randomly sounding, synths are build. The further in the track, the less random these synths get and when everything comes together it is one perfect fit.
The second track, called ‘River In The Sky’, is a brighter one. In this piece of music the melodic side of the EP gets more clear through its hopeful lead melody, but still the track is guided by the characteristic techno influenced lower groove elements. 
Where the originals are raw and stripped down, VNTM’s remix of ‘River In The Sky’ is round and full. It’s the most melodic track of the EP and attracts the attention with its spacey and fluctuating ambiance. All this together results in a composition in which you can totally lose your thoughts.
‘Anderida’ is the fourth track of the EP and is also driven by this characteristic lower part. Some small additions such as a hat are making this track pretty groovy, but the real ear-catcher is its intriguing main lead, which you won’t hear every day. 
In his remix of ‘Anderida’ bastinov added some power to the lower end, by using his heavy kick-bass combination. He took the main synth of the original and brought it company through some interesting and massive synth melodies. All together forming a strong end to a strong EP.

Djuan starts feeling the music very young discovering the turntables at my parents catering. I collected over many years tracks on vinyl, cd's  and mp3. 
 My first experience as a DJ with the public was the deejay BdayBash of Staryu (Kevin Struyf) and further Lockdown led by deejay Druiver (Jan Berthels), and guest dj at club Inception in Herselt . I would like to thank my good friend Michiel Vandoninck (dj Tjels) who gives me opportunities to play at Club Inception Herselt.
After a break of 2 years I started again playing for some concepts in Club The Zoo namely Culture organized by deejay Frelix (Frederic Libens) and Secret Invasion organized by deejays Stich_it and Solis (Jens Willems and Jim Solis)

A music/audio mixer based in NYC, Mike Jenkins has gained vast experience from a lifetime of work in entertainment. After obtaining employment at NYC radio station WBLS-FM as a production engineer he remixed many songs that rotated in regular airplay including the Naughty By Nature hit O.P.P. earning him double platinum status. Recognized for being a DJ, he accepted two weekly WBLS mix shows. He decided to mix them live, as well as mix a weekly live show on WUSB-FM.

His love of music and audio expanded into mixing sound for live concerts, even touring the globe mixing shows for many well known recording artists. For 10+ years he supervised the sound department at the Apollo Theater. He's currently contracted by Radio City Music Hall. For the past 20+ years he has mixed many live concerts and events including the Christmas Show.

Finding a stash of tape recordings in his storage, he plans on a weekly release. Inspired, he will create and release newer mixes soon.
