Following their stunning debut EP “Inside”, and remixes for Booka Shade, Moby, and U2, UNDERHER lead us further into their beautifully dark and captivating world with their next offering, “Dark Souls”.  The title track, a firm favourite live, explores themes of heartbreak, carelessness and rebirth, whilst “Strained Are We” was written about the conflict in Syria and reflects painfully about injustice, the absence of control, and the lack of a voice. UNDERHER enlist the talents of dörfler, Strinner, and Koa to further expand the sonic realms of the EP into deep tech house, melodic techno and DnB tinged electronica.

Kalden’s accomplished cinematic productions and Jessica’s haunting vocals and beautifully crafted lyrics have been wooing music supervisors internationally, with both “Dark Souls” and “Strained Are We” featuring in recent Spanish Netflix series Elité.  Their incredible live performances have seen them support the likes of HVOB and SOHN, and play festivals and club shows internationally such as Stereo Montreal, Piknic Électronik, Uberhaus Beirut, Sisyphos and Katerblau Berlin, and Blue Marlin Dubai.  We are only at the beginning of what is sure to be a long and beautiful journey into the world of UNDERHER.

Atlant's relentless quest for emerging electronic talent sees us traverse the northern Swiss Plateau to Zürich for the rich innovative sounds of Soma Soul. To make this release something truly special we also summoned Afterlife mainstay / rising star Colyn and Atlant label owner BOg to each add their unique perspective to Soma Soul's two emotive originals.

Having already featured on last month's Atlant VOYAGER VA Soma Soul (Francesco Parla, Ralph Wirth) now take centre stage to build upon fine releases for Jonas Rathsman's ELEMENTS, Endangered and RADIANT. Both originals feature the beguiling vocals of the UK's Ed Begley.

The ambient intimate and unique textures of title track 'Complacency' really showcase what Soma Soul are all about. Cascading piano lines, cinematic sweeps and classy restraint really emphasise each softly sung lyric, with the sum of all parts creating wonderment and beauty.

For the remix we called on Colyn, fresh from his 'Concepts Of Love' EP for RÜFÜS DU SOL's Rose Avenue plus tracks on the mighty Afterlife UNITY and DGTL's latest VA. Colyn gives a remixing masterclass, using Ed's melancholic vocal as the foundation to craft layer upon layer of heart wrenching melodies as the pure emotion of 'Complacency' digs deep into your soul.
