Fr33 Radicals is a new-generation software instrument created in collaboration with our talented community. Fr33 Radicals was partially created by +100 sound designers (50%) and partially created in-house by 8DIO (50%). The instrument is – scouts honor – the darkest creation you will ever come across and if you are into dark music, wild sound design and looking for an entirely fresh approach to sound design – look no further. Fr33 Radicals contains over 4GB (compressed down to 2GB) sound designs. Fr33 Radicals contains viral ambiences, gritty ambiences, rhythmic ambiences, three sets of long bacterial “hits” and three sets of small bacterial “hits”. In addition the library also contains a variety of parasitical risers both short and long – and a deep-sampled collection of microwave sounds.

This track prominently features Legion Series 33 Drummers for all percussion, which contains over 100.000 percussion samples divided over 88 different percussion instruments.  The track is also heavily featuring our 66 Trombone Ensemble and samples from our upcoming Bible of Salsa release, which is the most extensive recordings ever done of high-end Salsa ensemble and solo players.

Score notes:

The track is inspired by Alan Silvestri's Predator 2 score, which contains gorgeous percussion ensembles w/ Alex Acuna and overall one of my favorite scores of all time.
