Miguel Leiva is Casomado, a producer and DJ based in Vancouver / Montreal who draws influence from his early life in South America as well as the varied history of music over the past five decades. His multi-faceted house music sound moves feet and souls alike, and his recent experiments with Afro-house have expanded his sound in exciting directions. Casomado's latest single, "Canto," explores this further, opening with various elements providing rhythmic counterpoints over a strong bass line punch. Melodic chants are cut-up into the mix as short synth hits and subtle pads accentuate the vibe. A Jam Edit is also included, stripping down the elements and showcasing the richness of the drum track and bass tones. A crucial groove.

Oslo-based creator Boblebad is an artist in every sense of the word. Blessed with an uncompromising creative vision, the producer, musician, painter and visual artist has been a prolific contributor to the Beatservice catalogue since arriving on the label in 2021. With an evolving sound that's impossible to pigeonhole, he's also released music on Eskimo, Full Pupp and Paper Recordings. Now as he joins the badabing diskos family, he serves up a further selection of vibrant sounds.  'Dream On’ has bubbling bass with echoing and flirtatious vocals. It is a superbly stylish and hypnotic disco house affair with cosmic chords smeared in all directions as the catchy grooves and hip-swinging claps lock you in.  Label boss Vinny Villbass remixes the second original track, ‘Go to Sleep’, delivering a deep club diversion that is perfectly hypnotic. The original of 'Go To Sleep' then closes out the package, a brilliant electronic indie lullaby for late summer insomniacs. It has sumptuous chords and sunny acoustic guitar riffs that bring an intimate and artistic feel to this most roomy and luxurious song.  As always this is a colourful, cosmic and characterful package from badabing diskos.

Jon also co-founded the recently relaunched Tilted Records, this was the first Deep House label locally of it's kind in the 1990s, which featured releases by artists such as; Brent Laurence, Wesley Holmes, DJ Ali, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Jay J and many others.

When two house music veterans join forces on Viva Recordings for some music action, you know you've got something special. And that's certainly the case with "You Got Something," the first of a two-part single from San Francisco keyboard and studio legend Sen-Sei (Delve Deeper, Nervous) and renowned DJ-turned-producer HUGEhands (AKA James Druett — i Records, Sound Vessel). The pair have come together for a slinky, late-night deep house charmer full of left-coast vibes, dubby flavors, and solid musicianship. A punchy rhythm-and-bass track leads the dancefloor on a journey through affecting vocal hooks, echoed sax riffs, and intricately layered keyboard sections. Col Lawton (Deep Fix Recordings) slips into the collab with a spacious remix of "You Got Something," blending dreamy effects and flourishes with the original's melodic craft. The result is a tad jazzier while gliding further into the deep side, eventually sprinkled with a floor-lifting acid bass line. Both sides of this single are sure to become DJ staples, soon to be accompanied by the release of Part 2.

Frank and Rusty have played at clubs and festivals around the globe, from Canada to Australia, and the pair have even opened up for the iconic godfather of soul himself, James Brown.
