The latest release from Get Up Recordings is a classic house monster! &ldquo;I&rsquo;m Goin&rsquo; Under&rdquo; is the breakout solo release from label co-owner Christy Love featuring a killer guest vocal from Scissor Sisters front-woman Ana Matronic. Christy Love has been immersed in the house music scene for more than two decades and is one of the most sought-after DJs in NYC because she consistently destroys dance floors all over the city (and beyond). Her distinct sets comprise of a clever mixture of classic and modern house bursting with driving beats and funky bass lines, playing a pivotal role in defining the current underground sound of New York. This DJ prowess, combined with her production work as House of Stank with long-time collaborator, W. Jeremy, and the success of their label, Get Up Recordings, has transformed Christy Love into a house music triple threat. The original version is a nod to underground classic house, yet reflective of all the musical styles that are currently happening in New York City - elements of deep tech, &rsquo;90s house and a diva-esque vocal by Ms. Matronic. Christy also includes a re-worked, club-friendlier version with choppier vocals layered over sounds reminiscent of the classic New York City Ballroom house scene. The release also includes two remixes, the first coming from Australian born / Berlin resident Michelle Owen. In addition to production and remix work on labels such as Lost My Dog, Moodmusic, Exploited, and Dirt Crew, Michelle has also worked with Ben Watt at his label Buzzin Fly Records, the Beatport office in Berlin, Native Instruments, and currently runs her own music product management company. Michelle&rsquo;s multi-dimensional artistry really comes through on her remix, which is a &rsquo;90s house big beat approach with rhythms and sounds harking back to the early U.K. rave scene. The second remix comes from London&rsquo;s Hannah Holland, co-owner of the label Batty Bass which has become one of the U.K.&rsquo;s most-respected underground labels. The label&rsquo;s bi-monthly parties at The Star of Bethnal Green and XOYO are described by Time Out as &ldquo;&hellip; a must-do on the U.K.&rsquo;s club calendar&rdquo;. She is also a frequent DJ at renowned parties such as Bugged Out, The Warehouse Project, Fabric, Ibiza&rsquo;s Amnesia, and Glastonbury. Frederick started working on the release on the train, where he sketched out the ideas on the way home. And later he finalized these tracks over several sessions at home. Now this edition consists of three original works - "Newland Castle", "Run In The Night" and "Emrnt".  In these tracks Frederick dives deeper into the atmospheric sound, moving from hard to a softer and more melodic one.

"During summer of 2023 we got the idea to unite norwegian and georgian producers to a compilation for the further enhancing of our nations bond. Rather than just asking for tracks, we sent out an invitation commisioning everyone involved to make a smooth track. As per usual on LEK, there were no limitations in terms of genre, but the track had to be somewhat relevant to the floor.

The total variety of different expressions far exceeded our expectations, and we are proud to present this compilation ranging all the way from deep dubby downtempo, party house, electro in many forms, and multi-crossovers."
