this song reminds me of christmas time! its got a really good vibe to it

I feel like I'm in the 50s or 60s but without the social problems and I'm lying on the beach of Florida or California you know. Uhhh... It's my wet dream.

Just imagine if this happened and picture the setting…

It’s the late 1930’s and the local jazz club is packed to the brim with people awaiting the rapper Nas and his jazz musicians (orchestrated by Producer Funky DL) along with featured artists to come and play a 10-track set to forever be remembered. The lights are dim and the hall is filled with smoke, whilst the clinking sound of champagne flutes ambiently gesture in the atmosphere. Nas and Funky DL are having their picture taken outside the club in an array of spotlights glaring from their vehicles (see artwork). Then it happens… The two step inside and “JAZZMATIC” erupts … All you have to do now is… “press play”...  (PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS THE INSTRUMENTAL VERSION)

this song was another one of the earlier songs I made, probably around 2009 again. I was a real fan of "light on the land" by nujabes and upbeat beats in general, so i tried it out. it went through about 7 or 8 different versions, but finally ended with this one. i hope you enjoy it.

Mixing tempered hip hop beats with jazzy vibes and a lounge sensibility, saib. touches on a style that’s both chill and opulent. The album’s opener, “Archipelago,” sets the scene with gentle piano, swirling strings, and beachside sounds that would make Martin Denny proud. “Tropics” pushes the agenda further, featuring delightful vibraphone lines, stand-up bass, and boom bap beats, providing the perfect soundtrack for poolside cocktails. The sleepy crooning of “Blue Memories,” the future-retro sing-a-long of “Mermaid Dreams,” and the guitar/vibes interplay of “Pastel” provide other highlights.
