Sweep The Floor Records was founded in January 2013 with their first release hitting stores in May of that Year! STFR was set up to get this music out to the world while aiming to give talented new producers a step up into the scene with the help from some established artists. 

The label has grown from strength to strength with the help of their head honcho Dave Crane. In April 2015 both labels were taken under the wing of the world famous and massively popular Krafted Music Group where their rise continues to grow!

Rhubard and Custard aka Sam Fooks and Chris Butterfield joined forces in 2008 after meeting through mutual friends at a rave. Both self-taught DJ’s with Sam’s original genre being drum and base and Chris having vinyl decks from the age of 13, they developed their style after becoming regulars on the rave scene.

From the age of 18 the duo would mix together regularly, keeping on top of all the latest techno, tech house and deep house tunes to always stay current. In 2011 Rhubarb and Custard stepped onto the professional platform by linking up with State London and becoming their resident DJ’s starting with nights at Cargo and Source Bar. This led to being booked for Submerged at Warehouse.

After being seen at Submerged further opportunities opened up for the pair who went on to have an extremely busy summer playing on a number of London boat parties and at a number of other clubs including Brixton Club House, Nomad, Apples and Pears, Dukes Bar, Egg and Pacha plus more and on lineups with some of the scenes biggest current djs.

They are currently resident DJ’s for Shouldn’t Really and It’s Aloud and are focussing on producing their own music using the latest Logic technology. Rhubarb and Custard always look to keep current by mixing new releases and continue to develop as DJ’s, moving to bigger venues and getting heard by a wider audience. 8Eyes is the collaboration of Aaron Ward and Dean Harvey.

A pairing based on 18 years of friendship and a shared penchant for House and Techno, the duo started Dj'ing together in 2013 and haven’t looked back. From being head honchos of club night Fresh held at various Newcastle venues, to smashing it at Cosmic Ballroom.

Expect a signature blend of House & Bass and a spot of Disco from these two Northerners as they supply soundscapes that blur the lines between genres while still showcasing their knowledge of real good tunes.

Their first production 'Bangers No Mash' was released as a Free Download and has smashed dancefloors across the North East and Beyond. Their productions have went from strength to strength growing in both ability and notoriety along the way. With 2014 they have knuckled down pinning down their style of heavy beats and rumbling Subs featuring elements of every genre, expect big things from these guys in 2015.
