For his third outing on 8 Sided Dice in as many years Hans Bouffmyhre has delivered a typically bombastic and uncompromising three-track EP. Lead track ‘Pressure’ sets out the stall with its cavernous kick and nagging chords that evolve from a simplistic pattern to create a hypnotic melodic mass. ‘Hurricane’ opts for a more abrasive vibe with its distinctive jittering buzzer sound and rising tones making for an anxious and disorientating effect. Finally, ‘Mental State’ brings elements of both styles together by fusing pounding grooves, unrelenting bleeps, echoing chimes and nagging harmonics.

The analog era shaped him: Kaminski. 
As a turntablist, collecting vinyl from all 
kinds of early, genre-defining music such 
as Krautrock, early Electronica or 808 
breaks has given him a distinctive musical style.

that take possession of body and soul" 

In his capacity as a producer, he translates this 
style without frills into the genre of techno. 
But he also leaves his mark as a DJ and label 
owner. Regarding his DJ-sets Kaminski does not 
let himself be tied down: from hard pressure to crisp 
grooves in a balanced mix. Yet you can always hear 
a trace of inspiration from Chicago and Detroit. 
His creative urge manifests itself through his label

records, but also organizes podcasts and events.
