ROTLA (RAIDERS OF THE LOST ART) IS A THOUGHT COLLECTIVELY BROUGHT TO LIFE THROUGH THE WORKS OF HIP/HOP PRODUCERS PROPHILE & 8TH LIGHT AS WELL AS SOUND ENGINEER DAVID KASSAI. 

Based out of Firewave Productions in San Antonio, TX we aim to create a greater awareness of culture and community within the local music scene, especially hip-hop. Being a completely independent label, we take pride in doing things in ways that are unconventional for most others. We operate as kids that have a passionate appreciation for music and the arts as a whole. We offer limitless production.. Live instruments.. Vocalists.. Professional mixing and mastering.. any sound is possible to create. We are in search of artists/producers/engineers/designers or anyone who shares a passion of creating as much as we do. Devon "8th-Light" Bennett is American artist, poet, producer, engineer ,entrepreneur , MC. He was Born on August 9, 1987 in San Antonio, Texas. His father Abe Bennett(Nephew of Late JLP Representative Enid Bennett) , A Jamaican immigrant from Linstead, Jamaica ; passed away on January 22, 1988. Raised by a single mother, his older sister, and grandmother; He is the 2nd oldest out of 5 kids.  When he graduated high school in 2005, He discovered his girlfriend at the time(now ex-wife)
was pregnant with his son. At 18 yrs old he decided to marry the mother of his son, in hopes of providing a stable environment. Realizing the priority of wanting to make his passion of music a career, He sacrificed his marriage and family.  In 2009 He studied audio engineering at the Institute of Audio Research in NY. After 4 years of living in New York City, He returned to San Antonio. Working at guitar center and Bjorns, In 2019 He quit his Job and started GLUE Media Group LLC. The rest is the future.
