Detroit Techno Militia is a record label and a street level DJ/Producer collective dedicated to preserving the legacy of true Detroit electronic music and its proliferation around the world.  We believe in what we do, and take pride in contributing to a tradition that has deeply inspired us. Detroit Techno Militia soldiers work to maintain and preserve the significance of techno made in our native city.

The first release on the Perspektiv imprint from Rotterdam features two rave cuts produced by an anonymous stranger... 

Forthcoming end of September on limited transparant 10" vinyl, this release clearly reflekts the artist's passion for the haydays of the Hardcore Rave movement.

Parkzicht was in the 90's a famous danceclub in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. For many the birthplace of hardcore, Parkzicht was more than that. All styles of house, techno, breakbeat and trance were played by legendary residents as DJ Rob, Ludie (MC Joe), Ricky da Dragon, Robert (Stanton), The Dark Raver (Parkneger) and many more. International dj's and producers like Moby, Richie Hawtin and Speedy J played the joint. Parkzicht was shut down in 1996 by the mayor of the city after a shooting incident. Parkzicht is dead but lives on here... Like if you dare!

House and techno music is his passion since more years;he has studied in Italy at the school of sound technician,and he has developed his knowledge about electronic music over time.

He has released his firts works on digital labels Monique Musique and Rohs Records under the name Stefano Galbiati.In 2010 he opened the only vinyl label "Earth Mothern" with his Friend Andee,and They get some release under the name RK's:Remix For EM01,Ep EM02:Rk's-Save The Earth Ep e EM04-Rk's-Summers Works EP;in 2012 he released his first vinyl under the name JS (EM05:JS-The Dark Side Of The Earth EP with rmx of OCP aka Analogue Cops) distributed by Diamond And Pearls.After he started a new project with Lucretio of Analogue Cops called "Van Basten",with the release on Earth Mothern (EM07),and he has released a new track on "Tape Fresser Vol.1 (EM08).

Vinyl purists, gear scientists, lo-fi tech-freaks and general purveyors of all forms of hardware, Lucretio and Marieu aka The Analogue Cops are the founders of Restoration Records. As the name so boldly suggests, their imprint has been heavily involved in the deconstruction and reshaping of the house and techno sound since the duo moved to Berlin from the outskirts of Padova – Italy’s unofficial underground music mecca – almost a decade ago.
After the digitalisation of music which evolved thanks to the ‘minimal’ sound of the early 2000′s, The Analogue Cops made it their objective to bring back the freedom and diversity which characterised house and techno throughout the 90′s. No more over-compression, no more sync buttons, no more reliance on sub-genres, but a return to the source of it all and to the basics of the art form: hands-on and heartfelt beat-making centred around a much more wide-eyed vision of dance music, one that still very much looks to the future and consistently makes reference to the utopian vision of the industrial dream.
Taking the sound from Detroit, Chicago, Berlin and from the United Kingdom as a point of inspiration, the duo have progressively nurtured their own style – gritty, loose, improvisational arrangements boasting a singular sampling touch – one which is both instantly recognisable as their own and also partly responsible for the current state of affairs in the game.
Never compromising their approach or deviating from their militant vision of what underground dance music represents, the Cops have collaborated with a number of trusted affiliates such as Blawan (as Parassela) and Steffi (as Third Side), among others. Since 2010, they have nurtured the Appointment project alongside Relative founders John Swing and EMG – a bi-monthly production jam of similarly minded artists – and have also appeared on a string of different side-projects and other labels including the UK’s Hypercolour stable. Their own imprints – Lucretio’s Machines State Polymers and Marieu’s Enlightened Wax – have further developed their respective sounds into the funky yet dark and tape-saturated grooves that they are today.
Performing either as a DJ duo or as a live act, Lucretio and Marieu’s sets contain the same levels of energy and a distinctly personal touch. The former can include everything from the productions of their tight-knit crews to forgotten 90′s house and techno gems and even shades of gritty broken beats, while the latter showcases the Cops’ own productions. This, of course, is performed strictly without laptops or software processors, but with a bunch of drum machines, a couple of sequencers, the latest outboard synths they’ve laid their hands on, a few boutique pedals and a whole load of analogue gear and circuitry.
Restoring and remodelling since 2006. The mission lives on.
