So why do I still feel down a bunch,
Why do I still resent your touch,
See I’m sure I’ve been burned but my worth has been turned,
From a worm to a bird, from a child that was spurned,
To a man who’s deserved,
Worse than he got, or maybe better than expected,
The sword is powerful but the pen is my weapon,
I hope what I write has a positive message,
I write these bars in hopes to unlock truth,
But art can’t save it can only reflect you,

I find my voice in these rhythms,
But I’m still spitting bars from behind a prison booth,
If you take a peek within,
