As an artist, Brent Gillaerts does not put himself in a corner to leave room for his musical development. Due to his young age, as an artist he realizes that the efforts of the future will further refine his musical direction and fully embraces this development. 

He founded "96," a DJ movement. This influences his own methods and ever proactive attitude to rediscover his atypical sets or return to methods that an audience appreciates.

198319831983 is an alias of electronic music artist Jakob Bekš, whose early music trajectory traces a familiar arc: from the urgency and radical politics of hardcore punk to the immersive futurism of electronic music. Born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia (then Yugoslavia), Bekš came of age amid shifting political and cultural tectonics—formative tensions that continue to reverberate through his work.
 
A key figure in Slovenia’s underground scene, he co-founded the now-defunct but highly regarded Scienceofuse collective and label (2006–2016), and was instrumental in co-curating Gumitwist—a seminal series of club nights at Ljubljana’s Klub K4 that became a stop for global innovators like A Guy Called Gerald, Legowelt, Modeselektor, Morphosis, etc. His finely tuned sensibility behind the decks earned him residencies and regular appearances at key nights throughout the region.

From 2015 to 2020, Berlin became a base for further experimentation. There, he launched Imaginary Radio Stations, a boundary-blurring sound narrative and event project developed with collaborators CP-AK and Evano, hosted at club Maze. This cross-border platform embraced live performance, installation, and improvisation, folding experimentalism into the dancefloor.

Working across multiple aliases—including TPROACH and Age of Revolt—he navigates a wide terrain: from atmospheric electronica and deep techno to angular electro and leftfield club mutations. In 2021, he founded Honest Work Recordings, a boutique label inaugurated by his debut full-length album Microdosing Dystopia, a record that fuses finely distilled emotional snapshots with textural depth and rhythmic precision. Whether through releases on KRI Records, De/Fragment, Voiceless, or via his own platforms, 198319831983 delivers music that is restlessly aesthetic yet conceptually grounded, his work moves with sonic intent and lingers with emotional depth.

96 is a movement uniting DJs, producers, visual artists and volunteers to enrich Brussels' cultural scene in an intergenerational and interdisciplinary way. 

We focus on creating opportunities for performances and fostering open, fair collaboration. Through partnerships, self-organized events, workshops, and residencies at Bruzz and Microwave.live, we aim to amplify artistic expression and innovation. 

With our label we want to give our residents a platform for them to release their music on. A label that aligns with the same values of our movement. One that puts the artist in the spotlight and seeks to help them grow instead of using them as a product.

Okima is the alter ego of a molecular and cellular biologist who has combined his scientific expertise with his musical knowledge. In Okima’s world, science and sound are not separate entities but complementary forces. He draws the best aspects of the analog and digital realms, whether with the raw energy of electro, the dark pulse of EBM, the avant-garde post-punk and wave, or ever evolving ambient. Rooted in curiosity, Okima invites listeners to discover a world where science and sound intertwine.

Antipoff is the brainchild of the artist Lukas Antipoff, who has been honing his skills as a DJ and producer for quite some time. It's a new venture that allows him to encapsulate all his musical endeavors. Currently, the primary focus is on exploring how to harmonize sonic experimentation with sweaty dance floors. From utilizing vintage tape machines to sampling obscure internet videos and everything in between, it's a bricolage tailored for the dance floor.

His musical journey began with learning the ropes of being a DJ and taking crowds on a journey, a sentiment evident in his sets. He delivers technically robust performances featuring his own work and edits, all with a keen emphasis on danceability. Versatile, never dull, and always invigorating. No need to put a label on stuff. It's music that is trying to make you feel something.

Echo/Dawn weaves stories by tracing the contrast between light and dark. Echo resonates with the depths below, while Dawn rises in its wake. Through his performances, he invites the audience into a dialogue — a narrative that takes shape in motion, where emotion, ambiance, and rhythm converge into moments of collective release. From post-club rhythms and cutting breaks to ambient soundscapes and forward-thinking electro, each performance emerges as a journey through uncharted sonic territories, where boundaries blur and new forms of resonance take form.

Echo/Dawn's series ༺✵༻ echoes to ecstasy ༺✵༻ navigates the liminal space between the echoes of the depths below and the release of pure ecstasy. Each mix is a dialogue between the two, where shadows appear & dissolve as the story keeps unfolding.
