June 2020 - Adam Craig is an American producer based in Michigan. He recently dropped a brand new single titled Lockdown, which reveals his pen-chant for vibrant melodic techno. This year has not been the easiest by a long shot, with lock-down rules keeping people indoor and breaking havoc on our lifestyles. In addition to that, we are all experi-encing social and political tension, casting even more uncertainty on these hard times. Having said that, there is still something that we can look forward to: great music! Producer Adam Craig, like many other artists, used to opportunity to unleash is creativity and bring a new track to the table. His single “Lockdown” is a perfect example of great melodic techno music, combining tasteful synth layers with some tight beats and incredibly punchy dynamics.

The song has a steady four-on-the-floor kick and a hi-hat pattern on the upbeat, giving the groove a di-stinctive swing and a punchy vibe. The synths have a side-chain swell that matches the kick to perfec-tion, while still retaining the clarity of the melodies.
