PHENOMENON

Calling an EP “Devil” although it will most certainly conjure a smile on the face of any elctronic music enthusiast might come as a surprise, or even cause confusion. 
But let’s be fucking serious, when Boris Brejcha picked this title, he had probably no evil thoughts in mind but was rather daydreaming of one of his many shows that are known to turn any club into a diabolically hot sweat lodge due to the energetic atmosphere and ecstatic crows. 
So in the end you could arque that the title of his new EP seems long overdue. 

The name giving A-Side comes as clean and to the point as we know it from Boris Brejcha.
A rolling beat that never looks back but marches forward, driven by pure energy and nifty as hell. 
Let the speaking devil suck you into this dark piece of High-Tech Minimal and join the ride for almost the minutes. 

Right from the start “The Darkest Night” reveals an even groovier drive that makes it sound unstoppable. Furthermore the track turns out to be an emotional rollercoaster in the form of a roaring and intimidating fanfare that fades in and out before a catchy melody line spreads a thoughtful and intimate atmosphere. This B-side will definitely make you want to go for another round…and another round…

Last but not least this “devilish” EP will end “In The Middle Of Nowhere”. But unlike the name implies, Boris Brejcha is taking you right to his musical epicenter. 
Expect one of Boris’ most multifaceted tracks that prove why his career continues to skyrocket.

Teckni B - Raverground EP  
This project is a highly energetic collection of two tracks, which blur the lines between techno and underground electronica. The first track, “Beaterground,” has a very rhythmic feel, and a focus on creating a dense, gritty and textural feel. On the other hand, “Clubberground,” the second track on this release, has a more colorful mix, with various samples, melodic interplays and revolving themes. The two tracks are a really great fit back to back, exploring various stylistic nuances and highlighting Teckni B’s versatility and huge creative range. These tracks are like two different sides of the same coin, going for a very cohesive, punchy and dynamic feels that keeps the groove to the max. While the former has a more upfront feel, the latter is definitely more expansive and open-ended. This excited project marks the third studio release for Teckni B partnered up with 99WAVES, a unique label that’s known for setting the bar higher in terms of quality techno music.
