Proprietor of Baltimore-based vinyl record shop Charm City Groove and DJ under the pseudonym 9mann, Andrew Ninnemann is just as comfortable on the decks as he is digging through dusty crates of vinyl. While his musical interests are widespread, he has planted himself firmly in the house of groove. With a growing fanbase in the Baltimore and Washington, DC region and beyond, 9mann's DJ sets often dive into the deeper side of dance music, routinely selecting 90s house, leftfield, and obscure disco edits to get people’s feet moving. Some of 9mann’s favorite dancefloor experiences occur when a DJ’s musical voyage allows him to transcend himself and be fully immersed in the music. It is this experience that he tries to emulate in his own sets. With over a decade in the DC/Baltimore area, he has honed an ear for deep, accessible grooves.
