BCCO x SoundCloud New Faces shines a spotlight on the freshest new talent in our industry. 

945 artists applied for Season 4 of New Faces and from those applicants we chose 30.

From all of the mixes in Season 4, three will win special prizes. There is a Public Choice Award, chosen based on engagement by the SoundCloud Algorithm. There is a BCCO award, and there is a Tresor Booking Team Award where two sets will be chosen by the team at the famous Berlin Club and will go on to play at a BCCO New Faces night at Tresor.

Season 4 runs until end of July 2025 and winners will be announced then.

BCCO Premiere: Vel - You Taste Like Zaatar [CJACT003]

he Berlin-based producer duo Kalte Liebe keeps drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno.
Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, and more they started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.

Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of DAF, Falco, Thomas P. Heckmann and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.

While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and English the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.

With recent releases on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“ and their recent work „Dopamin“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With loads of unreleased work and their Vocal Live Performance Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

When we asked Pegassi to make a mix for us, he said yes immediately. With more than 3 months to the deadline, he chilled. A little too much, and he missed the date.

Determined to get it done, Pegassi packed his DJ setup, took it on a flight to Berlin, and recorded the mixtape in his hotel room in one take before playing at a gig. BCCO Mix Series 500: DJ SPORTSCHUH

fumi is a Berlin-based American DJ and producer whose artistic journey has flourished in just two years. A resident of 240 KM/H and a member of Aurora Kollektiv, she draws inspiration from old-school sounds, particularly outside the realm of electronic music. Influenced by hip-hop, bossa nova, and jazz, fumi weaves these genres into her sets with ease. Her musical identity is rooted in driving, energetic grooves, but her style also incorporates bounce, trance, hard house, and acid. Known for quick mixing and original blends, every set is a unique experience.

This mix was recorded at fumi's childhood home, where she had to rely on simple equipment and focus on sharp track selection and creative blending with just two decks. The result is a groovy set that captures what she’s loving right now. For fumi, groove is where her soul finds peace, and playing a groovy set feels like pure music therapy.

Georgian powerhouse Yanamaste drops long-anticipated new EP on Mutual Rytm. 

In-demand DJ/producer Yanamaste is a resident at Georgia’s renowned Khidi Club and a key part of Amsterdam’s Vault Sessions crew. His unique sound and fresh creative approach result in raw and visceral techno, reflecting his passion for pushing boundaries and showcased perfectly via his ‘Dance’ EP on Vault last year. Now, he returns with an EP born out of the creative process behind his live set with a debut appearance on SHDW’s Mutual Rytm, ‘Evil’ - a collection of heavily-requested tracks that have already made an impact after featuring in his Boiler Room and Stone Techno Festival livestream. 

‘Evil’ kicks things off with perfectly rubbery, funky drum patterns and an urgent sense of movement that sweeps you off your feet. ‘Lahante’ is more percussive, with busy snares riding the rolling, forceful drums and stark synths arresting your attention. ‘Dragonfly’ is perfectly reduced via minimal drums intertwined with thunderous effects and ghoulish energy, while ‘Modulation Detected’ has a more cosmic feel as it journeys into the future with whispered spoken words and synths searching across the face of the groove. Klaps is a Belgian DJ and techno producer known for his high-energy productions and dynamic sets. Based in Houthalen, his love for electronic music began at age eight when his father gifted him a record player—a moment that sparked a lifelong journey.

He’s played standout sets at major festivals including Tomorrowland, Extrema Outdoor, and Pukkelpop, where his Boiler Room appearance left a lasting impression. With support from heavyweights like Richie Hawtin, Pan-Pot, Reinier Zonneveld, Luigi Madonna, and Charlotte de Witte, Klaps has cemented his place in the techno scene. He also runs his own label, Get In Line, dedicated to powerful, groove-driven techno.

This mix was recorded on a sunny Friday afternoon in his living room. It's the sound he’d bring to a peak-time outdoor festival—happy, high-energy, and designed for a crowd fully immersed in the moment.

Victor Fernandez is a Spanish techno artist known for his energetic and emotionally driven sound. With releases on ANAØH, South Signatures and Cod3 QR, he’s built a strong presence in the underground scene. His productions combine hypnotic textures with powerful grooves, always grounded by a human touch through hardware and analogue gear.
In 2025, he continues to evolve with EPs like Keep It Real and Dissonant Realities. His parallel project, Inner Ray, explores a more introspective side and launched on Laurent Garnier’s label Cod3 QR. A resident at Florida 135 and regular at Gaetano Parisio’s Conform Records events, Victor is forging an international path defined by depth and authenticity.

This special mix was recorded in his home studio in Barcelona.

Katnada presents the first EP "Liminal Bloom'' on her new label, Divine Nature.
The EP is a reflection of her sonic identity — a fusion of raw emotion, meditative grooves, and ethereal vocals.

The journey begins with “Rhythm,” where her voice becomes a hypnotic chant — a hymn to rhythm itself. A minimal groove slowly expands into orchestral movements and emotional peaks, bringing into a full journey. The Edit version releases the orchestral rise and flows back into the stripped-down beat.

“Untamed” follows with a fluid, rolling groove, where all elements are elegantly woven together. The vocal evokes surrender to the course of this mysterious life, driven by a mystical pad that adds spaciousness and introspection.

“Aphrodite” slows the tempo into a sensual groove with a dreamy soundscape.

The EP includes a remix of “Rhythm” by End Train, who reimagines the track, transporting the vocal into a haunting new realm.
