An hour's mix of heavy trax from a variety of a club-centric genres, each one bringing in their own kind of strength and weight. Some crushing rhythms, some less mechanical sounding numbers, some waves of light penetrating through, but overall a conveyor belt delivering deathly blows to the skull in an agile and ordered manner.

An hour's mix of tracks that carry with them an underlying sense of mystery and femininity, threaded together by agile percussion. Compared to other mixes previously put together by myself, there is a focus on deeper sounds to keep a sense of submersion throughout, and to feel embraced by its flow. There are more impactful splashings dabbled in to keep things from sinking too far. Ultimately however, it's a sea of serenity, and it is always shimmering 🌊

SHIMMER XResident Mix 002 - Falx

This is a mix I did back in 2014 of a few tracks from Streets of Rage back on an old Numark MIDI controller using Traktor. Plenty of unnecessary reverb thrown in to mask transitions!

Realised this wasn't anywhere but YouTube of all places, so thought I'd upload it here.

Could only fit so much into approx 30 mins so apologies if your fave Streets of Rage tune ain't in there.
