Many elements of dub, house and techno can be found around it, but not at the tempo you are used to. Cybersex plays at a fast pace so that most records are not even recognizable anymore. In addition, Cybersex has a soft spot for glitchy synthesisers, modulators and a sea of drum machines. One thing will always be central, the constant development of their sound and the search for groove & rhythm.

Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz born in Bogota, Colombia to a family of singers and percussionists, she develops her musical culture with the artistic experimentation of instruments such as guitar, percussion, and particularly in the field of brass with the trumpet.
In 2010 she moved to Italy and approached the world of electronic music with a particular predilection for mixing through vinyl.
She spent her adolescence in a studio and record store in Genoa and then performs in several clubs in the area.
RUIZ OSC1 collaborates with various clubs, festivals, radios and labels in Italy, Colombia, Germany, Spain, Ukraine, UK. Currently she is part of the collective Deestricted based in Berlin and in parallel she works on production projects under the name OSC1 with different characters of the electronic music scene.
In 2021 thanks to the collaboration of other people belonging to the electronic scene in Turin gives life to her new format Resonate.
She calls herself varied in her genre of production and expression and in her sets he promotes Groove techno, House, Trance, Breaks and Electro ranging from 130 to 150 bpm.

Hany also known as technoslave_69 is a Amsterdam based DJ who was born and raised Cairo, Egypt. Hany’s passion for the techno scene began when he first moved to Amsterdam 3 years ago and he then decided to pursue his passion for the scene musically and DJ. Hany describes his style as ‘club-oriented’ as his aim for all the sets that he puts out is to give the listener a sensation of being in the clubs again, on the dance-floor, and all sweaty. His sound consists of minimalistic details with driving baselines blending them with synths, percussions, and vocals creating a hybrid assuring to never losing the listeners attention.

Metaraph is a non binary multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin.
They are a jewellery designer, DJ, music producer, dancer, performer and one of the co-founder of Orpheus, London based multidisciplinary project that merges conceptual art experiences with rave and multidisciplinary approaches.
Freshly signed under Bpitch label in Berlin, Metaraph started to gain their audience more widely also after their multiple appearances at Hor Berlin.  
They started performing within the London queer underground scene since 2018 whilst they started travelling also across Europe.
They released their first ep Motus Animi on TSA records and many singles for VAs of Durch, Expel your Demons, and more whilst they have been hosting an array of podcasts for numerous labels as Voight-Kampff, Gegen, Dusk and more.
Fast, ethereal, industrial, melancholic and raw journeys are created through their sound journeys succeeding in tearing out the individual inner chaos and transcending it to a higher level of consciousness. The maestro of metamorphosis crossbreeeds genres between hardcore, ambient, industrial, hardtechno, hardstyle and rave through hard kicks and sharp percussions always bundled with longing trancey melodies and dark vocals, which they give the necessary polish with a spark of acid.

Rawmantique Premiere: RAKANS - Behind Olive Trees (وراء أشجار الزيتون)

The Parisian Techno scene has a vast number of players, but none growing exponentially like DJ & producer Nymed.

Nymed’s sound is characterized by a love for old school 90’s techno, with a no frills approach to mixing that sets him apart from his FX laden contemporaries. This revivalist sound has made him an in-demand artist locally at iconic French queer events like Spectrum & Myst, but it also allowed him to play on the international scene in clubs such as Berghain (Berlin) or Paragon Broadway (New York). 

Fluctuating between hypnotic and sensual, his music production work channels his DJing philosophy while incorporating trippy melodies and sexually charged rhythms.

🎉 We’re back w/ PSL! After a long hiatus, our podcast series returns with a fresh vibe and an amazing lineup of talented artists. For our 37th edition, we’re excited to showcase PSL's sonic vision alongside an interview prepared by our resident Hevan! so Tune in! 🎶✨

With this mix I wanted to do things a little different this time, I usually focus on keeping a steady rhythm and 4/4 beats but lately I’ve been gravitating a lot towards things a bit more atmospheric as well as breaks that have the 4/4 punch and steadiness, but add a bit of sexiness and hips to the situation :) 

You can hear a lot of this in the mix as well as my usual lxtin sassy vibes. 💃

<< HEVAN: Let’s start off by getting to know which pronouns you identify yourself with. Do you have different senses/pronouns between your daily and your artist personas?:

>> PSL: I’m pretty much the same person in a booth or in my daily life. 

I started DJing professionally at 24 and actually revealing that side of me felt like some sort of coming out story because up until that point people knew I loved music but not necessarily to which extent and how much it means to me. By doing this made me feel like I was finally revealing my real self to the world.

<< HEVAN: What is the record that we would find yourself listening to religiously nowadays?

>> PSL: It hasssss to be In the Jungle by Disfu. Sluttiest track to drop for me these days.

<< HEVAN: Now let’s talk producing, you’ve recently put out your first tracks, how’s that process going?

>> PSL: It’s going great, I’m actually mad I didn’t get into it earlier. Before this year I produced with my sis @131bpm but it would be mainly him being hands on with it so the second I had some time at the begging of the year I went in head first and I was surprised at how fast I got to a place where things sounded how I like.

That’s why I say I’m mad I didn’t do it before because I always thought it would take me the longest time to get remotely close to something I would be proud of. Lots of things coming soon :)

<< HEVAN: A “full-on fam affair” brought you and LSDXOXO together to b2b for pride on the floorgasm’s floor. I can imagine the floor soaked, flooded and super wetted by you both. Were the crowd good swimmers? How was it for YOU?


>> PSL: I’m very thankful that every time I step on to the booth I receive so much love and positive feedback from the crowd so that was no different that time! 

LSDXOXO means so much to me because I remember finding out about him in my late teens and discovering a whole new side of music that I had never heard.

Playing b2b with him was a bit nerve wrecking the days before it happened but the second we started playing it felt so correct and meant to be, specially for CSD! 

I can fully say I’ve checked that off my bucket list :)

<< HEVAN: And on that note, do you personally enjoy swimming on some sweaty floors? Or are you more of a private diver to the deep end?

>> PSL: Both! The older I get the more I enjoy diving in privately and a bit more selectively, also because my relationship with the club has changed since I play professionally but when the moment is right and everything aligns I love being in the midst of a sweaty dance floor.

Liane says, “I tested broken rhythms and combined them with techno. It’s hard to describe, but I wanted to create something where the emotion shifts quickly, breaking the story and then piecing it back together.”

We’ve also had the pleasure of interviewing Liane for a closer look at her vision and personality—Here it is:

Q- Salam love!! Please share with us your pronouns? & your favorite record?
A- Heyyyyy!! My pronouns are she/her. Favorite record is a tough one.. mm recently I re-listened to Osheyack's LP Intimate Public and it is definitely one of my favorites. You can find some tracks from it in the mix :) 

Q- we know that you’ve been featured multiple times at the infamous DE SCHOOL, Amsterdam. Take us into a journey remembering one of your most exciting moments there. 
A- First of all I remember vividly the sound in the booth and space - its a vibrant memory. If I have to choose only one moment it would be the room filling up while I was playing an ambient and experimental intro and people standing listening. The tension build and the rhythm slowly giving a structure, until the first kick. 
 
Q- you’ve recently shared the booth with me at OHM, what are your aspirations as an artist and how do you prepare for your sets?

A- I prepare by creating a new playlist each time - i see it a bit like a collection I have that I choose from for each gig- maybe similar to vinyl djs in the preparing process. As for my aspirations I'm aiming to create a journey that is not only emotional rather a journey that creates a mental stimulation as well. This is how I enjoy music and its something I aim for also in the club. 

Q- if there’s one advice you could give the younger generation that’s seeking genuine connection beyond social media platforms. What would this advice be?
A-Give things time.

Ukrainian-born, Berlin based, justcallmesergio (Serhiy) takes inspiration in the origins of house of the 90s. 'Ghetto Forever' is the first single from the upcoming album, due to be released in January 2025. 

After a full-length album and EP this year, the new release will be infused with familiar sounds of the 90s - cheeky, cunty, acidic basslines and percussion heavy, those sounds that are defining his personality at its best and leaving no one staying still.

His journey in music production started in 2020, when he self-released his first track. Since then it’s been getting only busier as he also started playing as a DJ, joining forces with other fellow Ukrainians at Vechornytsi crew parties throughout Berlin, casadephunk crew residency, as well as making mixes for Refuge Worldwide, Tempelhof and Gasoline radio stations.

Starting mysterious and glamorously whimsical and finishing shifting and deconstructing with break-beats leaving the listener wonder throughout a set of explorations and unexpected plot twists. An hour filled with emotions of every kind. "It's hard to accept, but Berlin is cold, ugly and NOT cozy at the moment. So what we all need is some energy!! I dug out some tracks that keep me warm during these times, stitched and sewed them together, used a bit of hut glue and spit and this Trance-Acid-Techno Frankenstein is the result. saluuttt my love!! Please share with us your pronouns? & your favorite record(s)? 
-I'm going with She/Her pronouns and my favourite record at the moment must be the repress of Barkers "Debiasing" which i just ordered. It includes the iconic "Look How Hard I've Tried" that will forever give me goosebumps.

when did you start indulging in music?
-I made my first baby steps in the electronic music world about 4 years ago. My best friend taught me how to handle CDJs and a Mixer. Before, I was once taking part in a Vinyl Djing Workshop with a Hip-Hop DJ. That was fun. But mixing Timbaland tracks was not my cup of tea.

tell us more about SUPERGLOSS & how did this name come to life?
-Honestly, this name stands for everything that I am proud of about my personality. It's like a feminine flirty wink, a sarcastic joke. Even though I take my music really seriously. It allows me to be playful and fun in my selection and people are already expecting it when they read this name on the line up. I chose this name as a joke firstly, but now I am really happy with it.

We are very excited for your journey and recently you’ve played at Basement New York & Boilerroom, with such outstanding performances! Give us the best recipe of how a perfect evening could be like?
-Thank you!! That's sweet. Playing at these venues and parties that I've been a fan of, always feels too good to be true. I sometimes can't believe that it will actually happen, even if I am already at the entry of the club lol. The best recipe I can share with you from my ravebook is: 5 scoops of party-life-loving friends, 1 pieces of clothes, that makes you want to flirt with yourself and a few drops of you favourite drink - put it in a dark basement with some colorful light sources for 10-12 hours and boom - delicious!

if there’s one advice you could give the younger generation and more importantly, to your younger self, What would this advise be?
-The advise that I would've liked to know earlier is: everything will come when time is ready. Don't try to push life into a certain direction if you can't see any signs. Trust in yourself, your instincts and don't compare your journeys with others.

Raumtester - Popoff Kitchen's resident living between Moscow and St. Petersburg.  Seryozha managed to perform at the largest Russian venues, as well as in Berlin, Paris, Kiev and Nantes.  His mixes have garnered attention from Boiler Room and Hotel Radio Paris, they are always multi-genre and unpredictable.  He skillfully combines dense techno with classic house and dirty disco, as well as old school trance with broken genres and psychedelic rock.  Being a resident of popoff's  community, he is  creating a new electronic anthem of Russian independence and freedom.

Coming of age in the underground scene in Brooklyn, @tommyhartdj is heavily influenced by the history of New York house and the burgeoning techno scene of his current home in Mexico City. S.A. Tweeman is a Ukrainian DJ, promoter, founder of queer rave @veselka_kyiv, who has been a key figure in the club life of Kyiv for more than ten years and is directly at the forefront of the development of the electronic scene in Ukraine.

He has many projects behind him including 6 years of work on L8 Park, a series of Parental Advisory parties within the walls of Closer, co-founder of the Crest club and the recent launch of the Kyiv Trance Mission.

His sets are very eclectic with an open-minded atmosphere and balancing between techno, acid, trance with a lot of old school stuff. But it always depends on the dance floor which he is feeling at the fingertips.
