The idea of this mix is recording sounds that remind the Artist of Raw moments they felt, raw moments of love, sexuality, sadness, joy.. just raw uninhabited emotions and sounds. TBH, Amanda found a way to mesmerize us and send us into her own personal journey with music. 

Amanda is known as a strong presence in the queer underground music scene in São Paulo where she has been holding her monthly party Dûsk for the past 5 years. She is a resident at some of the best events in her home city: Mamba Negra - where she debuted at her first Boiler Room - Dando and House of Divas; and she often appears as a guest at Capslock, Tantsa, DGTL festival and many others.

Amanda has taken her sound on the road to many cities and events around Brazil and the world!

Franz Jäger is part of the Stuttgart based Schimmer Records crew and has been making serious progress in the scene with his productions in the past years, most recently seeing him release his fantastic 'Roots' EP on Hayes Collective which has gained support from the likes of DJ Stingray & MARRØN.

His sound draws inspiration from all corners of the electronic music spectrum with Franz describing it as “wide but minimal with the intention of kidnapping the listener and drawing them in to a hectic tunnel filled with surprises and depth that manifests itself in compulsive body action.”

kryptic universe aka stephan s. born 1979 in Dresden and raised in the district Striesen
Inspired by Electronic Body Music, Acid House, early 1990s Detroit Techno and the famous east german broadcast DT64 (with it's radio shows Dance Hall hosted by Marusha or Night Flight hosted by Marcos Lopez), kryptic universe began to buy records. And listen! First groundbreaking record was the X-101 album on Tresor by Underground Resistance. 1993 he heard of the Hard Wax in Berlin and ordered his first stuff there.
First experiences with work in record stores in Dresden were Humpty Records (1998) and later Hard Wax Dresden

His releases so far came out of Phonocake, Psycho Thrill, Sleepy City, Shtum, Melted Recordings, Wolfskuil and the dresden based label Lockertmatik.

In the last few years he has been experimenting with sound along with mina collective, digging in the history and periphery of dance music for fuel for his djs sets. Big fan of melancholical synths, furious dembows, fast paced ghetto tracks and 0 desdain for any genre. ⚡

Materia Hache (@materia_hache) troubles and from that troubling makes politics. It is in a permanent search of collective displacement from an individual introspection. It is a form of resistance from the dance body for an individual / collective question / displacement.Is that silence that opens for constant change: it is QUEER, it is TECHNO, it is HOUSE; it is what is born from fear, distance and uncertainty; it is all that is tried to be kept invisible while from the underground we answer with rhythms that displace us, that question us, that turn us into only one matter, at least for a few moments, more loudly than any given form.

Since the beginning of 2020 she has been immersed in the search for women and nonbinary producers to give visibility and voice to all those who fight for and to create a dancefloor that deserves to be danced. Co-founder of Others To The Front, a music label born a few months ago.

Her sounds are aimed to disconnect the listener from reality. By communicating her thoughts, emotions and energy through experimental and psychedelic sounds. Surrealist tries to make outcast feel understood with the mission to elicit an introspective experience in the listener. 
Takes you on a journey of emotions and fantasy through sound, vibrations and frequencies. Loaded with emotions, delirium and above all experimentation so that one can freely express.

Blinded by negativity, harshness of expression through words, insecurities and uncertainty of life, he only felt safe with the art of listening, dancing and travelling though music. Is the only places he felt comprended and accepted. Her sound interest started through her curiosity of her consciousness of perceiving sound not only through music. Growing with a powerful death mother which inspired her to appreciate every sound she heard. This, plus the curiosity of spirituality, society, nature, surrealism, fantasy and humans as individuals have only helped him to convey storytelling and different perspectives through his work. 
Surrealists is influenced by a wide variety of musical sound explorations and combinations (genres). Likes to time travel through years in music and culture.

Cybersex  (@de_reunie) a.k.a  Stef de Haan & Nick Edwards. As Cybersex we are looking for the purest form of groove & rhythm. Many elements of dub, house and techno can be found around it, but not at the tempo you are used to. Cybersex plays at a fast pace so that most records are not even recognizable anymore. In addition, Cybersex has a soft spot for glitchy synthesisers, modulators and a sea of drum machines. One thing will always be central, the constant development of their sound and the search for groove & rhythm.

Erika Andrea Murcia Ruiz born in Bogota, Colombia to a family of singers and percussionists, she develops her musical culture with the artistic experimentation of instruments such as guitar, percussion, and particularly in the field of brass with the trumpet.
In 2010 she moved to Italy and approached the world of electronic music with a particular predilection for mixing through vinyl.
She spent her adolescence in a studio and record store in Genoa and then performs in several clubs in the area.
RUIZ OSC1 collaborates with various clubs, festivals, radios and labels in Italy, Colombia, Germany, Spain, Ukraine, UK. Currently she is part of the collective Deestricted based in Berlin and in parallel she works on production projects under the name OSC1 with different characters of the electronic music scene.
In 2021 thanks to the collaboration of other people belonging to the electronic scene in Turin gives life to her new format Resonate.
She calls herself varied in her genre of production and expression and in her sets he promotes Groove techno, House, Trance, Breaks and Electro ranging from 130 to 150 bpm.

Hany also known as technoslave_69 is a Amsterdam based DJ who was born and raised Cairo, Egypt. Hany’s passion for the techno scene began when he first moved to Amsterdam 3 years ago and he then decided to pursue his passion for the scene musically and DJ. Hany describes his style as ‘club-oriented’ as his aim for all the sets that he puts out is to give the listener a sensation of being in the clubs again, on the dance-floor, and all sweaty. His sound consists of minimalistic details with driving baselines blending them with synths, percussions, and vocals creating a hybrid assuring to never losing the listeners attention.

Ehrenschwesta aka. Menal is Vienna based Swedish techno DJ. Her passion for music started at an early age. The biggest influencer is her parents with a Kurdish background. The political fight was put into music and her Fathers' instrument so-called "saz" was the most important element that made a deep connection between her and music. In 2019 along with her friend she started the collective under the Name ET:no where they were playing " Ethnic" sounds. Today Ehrenschwesta is a member of Wiener Gerüstbau, a Viennese collective that focuses on highly effective Oldschool Techno cuts. In her techno sets, you will hear fast, extremely rhythmic, powerful but atmospheric tunes.

Metaraph is a non binary multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin.
They are a jewellery designer, DJ, music producer, dancer, performer and one of the co-founder of Orpheus, London based multidisciplinary project that merges conceptual art experiences with rave and multidisciplinary approaches.
Freshly signed under Bpitch label in Berlin, Metaraph started to gain their audience more widely also after their multiple appearances at Hor Berlin.  
They started performing within the London queer underground scene since 2018 whilst they started travelling also across Europe.
They released their first ep Motus Animi on TSA records and many singles for VAs of Durch, Expel your Demons, and more whilst they have been hosting an array of podcasts for numerous labels as Voight-Kampff, Gegen, Dusk and more.
Fast, ethereal, industrial, melancholic and raw journeys are created through their sound journeys succeeding in tearing out the individual inner chaos and transcending it to a higher level of consciousness. The maestro of metamorphosis crossbreeeds genres between hardcore, ambient, industrial, hardtechno, hardstyle and rave through hard kicks and sharp percussions always bundled with longing trancey melodies and dark vocals, which they give the necessary polish with a spark of acid.

🎉 We’re back w/ PSL! After a long hiatus, our podcast series returns with a fresh vibe and an amazing lineup of talented artists. For our 37th edition, we’re excited to showcase PSL's sonic vision alongside an interview prepared by our resident Hevan! so Tune in! 🎶✨

With this mix I wanted to do things a little different this time, I usually focus on keeping a steady rhythm and 4/4 beats but lately I’ve been gravitating a lot towards things a bit more atmospheric as well as breaks that have the 4/4 punch and steadiness, but add a bit of sexiness and hips to the situation :) 

You can hear a lot of this in the mix as well as my usual lxtin sassy vibes. 💃

<< HEVAN: Let’s start off by getting to know which pronouns you identify yourself with. Do you have different senses/pronouns between your daily and your artist personas?:

>> PSL: I’m pretty much the same person in a booth or in my daily life. 

I started DJing professionally at 24 and actually revealing that side of me felt like some sort of coming out story because up until that point people knew I loved music but not necessarily to which extent and how much it means to me. By doing this made me feel like I was finally revealing my real self to the world.

<< HEVAN: What is the record that we would find yourself listening to religiously nowadays?

>> PSL: It hasssss to be In the Jungle by Disfu. Sluttiest track to drop for me these days.

<< HEVAN: Now let’s talk producing, you’ve recently put out your first tracks, how’s that process going?

>> PSL: It’s going great, I’m actually mad I didn’t get into it earlier. Before this year I produced with my sis @131bpm but it would be mainly him being hands on with it so the second I had some time at the begging of the year I went in head first and I was surprised at how fast I got to a place where things sounded how I like.

That’s why I say I’m mad I didn’t do it before because I always thought it would take me the longest time to get remotely close to something I would be proud of. Lots of things coming soon :)

<< HEVAN: A “full-on fam affair” brought you and LSDXOXO together to b2b for pride on the floorgasm’s floor. I can imagine the floor soaked, flooded and super wetted by you both. Were the crowd good swimmers? How was it for YOU?


>> PSL: I’m very thankful that every time I step on to the booth I receive so much love and positive feedback from the crowd so that was no different that time! 

LSDXOXO means so much to me because I remember finding out about him in my late teens and discovering a whole new side of music that I had never heard.

Playing b2b with him was a bit nerve wrecking the days before it happened but the second we started playing it felt so correct and meant to be, specially for CSD! 

I can fully say I’ve checked that off my bucket list :)

<< HEVAN: And on that note, do you personally enjoy swimming on some sweaty floors? Or are you more of a private diver to the deep end?

>> PSL: Both! The older I get the more I enjoy diving in privately and a bit more selectively, also because my relationship with the club has changed since I play professionally but when the moment is right and everything aligns I love being in the midst of a sweaty dance floor.

Liane says, “I tested broken rhythms and combined them with techno. It’s hard to describe, but I wanted to create something where the emotion shifts quickly, breaking the story and then piecing it back together.”

Q- Salam love!! Please share with us your pronouns? & your favorite record?
A- Heyyyyy!! My pronouns are she/her. Favorite record is a tough one.. mm recently I re-listened to Osheyack's LP Intimate Public and it is definitely one of my favorites. You can find some tracks from it in the mix :) 

Q- we know that you’ve been featured multiple times at the infamous DE SCHOOL, Amsterdam. Take us into a journey remembering one of your most exciting moments there. 
A- First of all I remember vividly the sound in the booth and space - its a vibrant memory. If I have to choose only one moment it would be the room filling up while I was playing an ambient and experimental intro and people standing listening. The tension build and the rhythm slowly giving a structure, until the first kick. 
 
Q- you’ve recently shared the booth with me at OHM, what are your aspirations as an artist and how do you prepare for your sets?

A- I prepare by creating a new playlist each time - i see it a bit like a collection I have that I choose from for each gig- maybe similar to vinyl djs in the preparing process. As for my aspirations I'm aiming to create a journey that is not only emotional rather a journey that creates a mental stimulation as well. This is how I enjoy music and its something I aim for also in the club. 

Q- if there’s one advice you could give the younger generation that’s seeking genuine connection beyond social media platforms. What would this advice be?
A-Give things time.

@sexxxstasy is an artist and a bright representative of the electronic scene in Russia, whose style is immediately remembered.

Without limiting himself to musical geography, he creates a quintessence of late 80s European sound, indie, trance, nu-beat and Chicago house.

Sexstasy is also a resident of @popoffkitchen a queer night from Moscow who's leading the electronic scene.
