UNDO is a Barcelona based dj and producer who has released records on labels such as Correspondant, My Favorite Robot, Beachcoma, La Dame Noir, Areal Records and his own Factor City imprint. With almost 15 years in the game, the long term Razzmatazz (The Loft and Lolita) and Moog resident is considered one of the leading catalan tastemakers in dance music.

 A key player in the Spanish electronic music scene, UNDO has long been a pivotal figure for dance music in Barcelona, and beyond. Now based away from the city, on the beautiful Costa Brava, but still a regular presence at it’s many clubs and festivals, UNDO, otherwise known as Gabriel Berlanga, continues to impress with his fiercely individual take on club and electronic music.

Releasing primarily through his own Factory City imprint, UNDO’s latest LP, Disconnect, is a colourful, acid-tinged snapshot of an ever evolving mindset. Receiving plaudits and both radio and club play from tastemaker DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, Roman Flugel and Erol Alkan, the fifty-first release on Factory City is the dynamic result of years in the DJ booth and full-time experimentation in the studio.

UNDO’s music and approach is rooted in melody, and awash in a distinctly European sensibility. Together with Chicago, Detroit or modern-era Berlin, another influence on the musical evolution of UNDO remains the often underappreciated Valencia club scene of the eighties and early nineties. In Barcelona, as a young man, Berlanga enjoyed nights out in open-minded clubs that fused every incoming musical wave, be it raw EBM and electro, kraut, post punk or weirdo disco. As a more hardcore sound swept Spain, Berlanga stayed true to the energy established in his early musical experiences, slowly but surely mastering his craft.

A low-key approach based, one based around friends and community, remains at the heart of UNDO’s work with Factory City, his label that has been ‘on the dancefloor since 2003’. An enthusiastic reflection of Berlanga’s own tastes, the music of UNDO has been joined by artists such as Fairmont, Nhar and Club Bizarre. It’s unifying, offbeat sound skirts the influences of post-punk, vintage acid house and balearic, while never getting caught up in nostalgia. ‘Disconnect’ has already been expanded upon with suitably out-there remixes from underground artists such as Dimitri Viemar, Cabaret Nocturne and Inigo Vonteir, with more excursions to follow.

A long-time resident at Barcelona’s legendary Razzmatazz venue, and former creative director at it’s club-within-a-club, ‘The Loft and Lolita’, an UNDO DJ set joins similar dots, creating a unique energy rooted in decades of electronic culture. Thousands of international dancers have been illuminated by his numerous sets at the city’s flagship celebration of electronic music, Sonar. Whether in the studio or behind the decks in Barcelona, Berlin, London, Mexico City or anywhere else in the world, UNDO is an artist who sounds only like himself; deep, sincere and timeless.

Alejandro Molinari is a Venezuelan musician, DJ and electronic music producer based in Berlin. The history of his music stretches back to 2010 when he moved to Mexico City and was influenced by the local techno scene. This gave birth to the distinctive sound of Molinari, an energetic fusion of New Wave, Dark Disco and Shamanism.
His musical career has carried him to clubs worldwide like Katerblau (Berlin), La Gare de Mines (Paris), Café Berlin (Madrid), Opium (Lithuania), Karkle Festival (Lithuania), M.N.Roy (Mexico), performing DJ Sets and Live Acts with analog gear and his unmistakable vocals. His music and remixes have been released on NEIN Records, Playground Records, Roam Recordings, Melomana Records, Logical Records, Bottom Forty, and Phisica.
Alejandro Molinari’s music and lyrics draw influences from esotericism and supernatural archeology. His references range from Post-Punk and Cold Wave to the origins of Techno and Dark Disco and also world music references like Ravi Shankar, Zakir Hussain and Ethiopian Jazz that color his sound with visionary and shamanic vibes. His music has been described as an “obscure and sensual shamanic voyage”.
In June of 2016, Molinari released his first official EP “Break the Bricks”, with the Japanese
label Blindetonation. Soon after, the track “Peso Muerto” gained him wide acclaim and is an unmistakable influence of his time spent living in Mexico and his immersion into the electronic music scene with the likes of Daniel Maloso, Rebolledo and Thomass Jackson. In February of 2018, Molinari released on NEIN Records his EP “Gargantua”, charting two tracks Gargantua and Discoteca Mexicana as top #2 best Indie-Dance tracks of the month on Beatport. The summer of the same year he released his album “Survival Game” where he samples Alan Watts speaking about human beings in their process or survival. This album has been played by Nick Warren, Paco Osuna, Anthony Mansfield and many other established musicians. This Summer, Alejandro Molinari will be releasing his latest EP, “Santo Ritmo”, on Playground Records with remixes by Mijo, Ali X & Ximena and Teniente Castillo.
Alejandro Molinari also has a side project called FUGITIV. With a background in classical rock from the 1970’s, his bandmate Ignacio Itriago complements FUGITIV with a collection of rare and hallucinatory sounds. In the context of the Venezuela’s dictatorship and economic crisis, Ignacio Itriago began collecting vintage synthesizers from the 1970’s and 80’s, amassing an ensemble of analogue frequencies that define the band’s musical personality. Strongly influenced by Post-Punk and Darkwave from the 1980’s, the cavernous voice of Alejandro Molinari speaks of bodies as vehicles, meditation breathing, arcane gods and newly discovered planets. FUGITIV’s unhurried ambient tracks draw influences from Angel Rada, the experimental musician from the 1970s and from the obscure Solfeggio Scale employed by monks in the Middle Ages.

The Alejandro  latest EP is “Santo Ritmo” on Playground Records with remixes from Mijo, Middle Sky Boom and Teniente Castillo.

Barcelona-based (party)collective Side UP-crew readies its ninth release on their Side UP Works imprint, which comes from Javier Ferreira. The five tracker Organic Time comes with three orginal takes as well as remixes from Thomas Jackson and Cardopusher, who took on re-treatment duties for the EP's title track and Bouncing while Repetitive And Constant remains untouched. What might sound like an endless monotonous loop is in fact an elaborated care- and skilfully put together piece of music that covers everything to catch the dancefloor's attention and dancer's attraction. Intriguing vocals that reveal only as much as needed, a lush bass line that supports both, the spoken words and the deeply twinkling chords that are introduced in the course of the track and provide the track edgi-, deep- and sexiness something that shall be repetitively and constantly part of music.

Javier Ferreira's EP Organic Time will be released on Side UP Works on August 4th, 2020.

She looked up nervously each time the restaurant door swung open, half hoping he might not show up to avoid the initial awkwardness and subsequent small talk. A couple of bad dates had thrown her off and left her wondering how many more she could endure before swearing off them for good. Tearing her gaze away from the door and towards the clock she became lost in her thoughts for a moment, thinking of the possible suitor who'd soon greet her. Her expectations weren't that high, all she hoped for was easy and organic conversation, and a nice smile wouldn't go miss... 

For their ninth release, following recent instalments from Theus Mago and Moderna, Diego Montiel and Persona, Barcelona-based party crew and label Side UP Works welcome Argetinian producer Javier Ferreira for a three tracker of acid-tinged grooves. On the flip Cardopusher and Calypso Records boss Thomass Jackson step up to rework the originals, with the latter morphing title track 'Organic Time' into a hypnotic driving cut.
