Andy Midgley has been DJing since the early 90′s predominantly on vinyl playing the house classics and piano anthems, and built up a reputable collection from Global Beat in Bradford. Now plays the best in house and disco with big bass lines, lots of percussion, melodic vocals and piano riffs, with influences from Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry, David Morales, Graeme Park, Dr Packer, Purple Disco Machine, to name but a few. After returning from a trip to Ibiza the decision was made to embark on the torturous task of learning music production. Getting championed by Greg Wilson leading to the first release on the Chopshop label, things snowballed with tracks released on Midnight Riot, Hot Digits, Disco Dat, Spa in Disco, Sound Exhibitions, Get Down Edits, Masterworks, Hot Groovers, with support from Craig Charles, Dimitri From Paris and producing a side project with Rob Bairstow as Greyskooledits things are moving in the right direction.
