Biography:

Developing a love for music through London’s pirate radio waves and the energy of the city’s rave scene, FD’s journey has always been one driven by feeling. Those early days spent recording mix tapes and chasing the emotion of certain records naturally led towards DJing and soon after the need to create his own music followed.

Rooted in honesty and expression, FD’s work reflects a constant search for balance: simple yet remarkable, distinctive yet accessible. His music draws from a deep well of influences, from soul, jazz and hip hop to the moments in drum & bass history that inspire him. Always looking to distil ideas down to their purest form, he aims to create pieces that resonate in the club and beyond, to stand the test of time as art.

As a DJ, FD’s sets are journeys built from a long-standing love and understanding of the music, showcasing the full spectrum of drum & bass, in all it’s depth, emotion and versatility, revealing how its tempo can carry a world of ideas and influences. Having played at some of the scene’s most respected clubs and festivals around the world, he continues to represent his own vision and belief in what makes this music truly special.

Is a self-taught musician, Dj & chiropractor of Zen Shiatsu.
Founding member of the Greek post-punk groups "Ends With The Sea" (1983-84) & "Winter Watercolors" (1984-88) as guitarist, singer, lyricist and composer. In 2016, he released an album of his 2 groups entitled "Years 1984-1988" by Geheimnis Records. He has also composed scores for contemporary dance performances, video art & short films.
A pioneer of the local freestyle Dj scene, A@H2O started Djing in 1984 and continues to this day. A member of some of the most productive underground parties during the 00's (Muzak7, ZuLuTeK, What! Street Party, Bass Class). Active Radio producer at https://www.paranoiseradio.com/,  "Music Juice" Live Radio Show 18:00 - 20:00, 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month & https://stegi.radio,  "Lost In Music", every 1st and 3rd Saturday 15:00-16:00 of the month.
He writes extensively in the local music press. Formerly a radio producer on Radiobubble, & Free FM.
