- The "ARI covers" where all recorded in one session by with my dear friend Tolga Tolun at the Abbey Road Institute (Berlin) studios.

- The "Corona Diaries": all songs recorded live at home on my old shitty mobile phone  - some tracks with overdubs - by myself. All Tracks are 1st, 2nd or 3rd takes (the "good old Blues and Jazz-style", respectively I just read the Miles Davis autobiography for the second time, so that was a huge influence regarding the live and direct recording-approach of geniuses like Parker, Monk, Gillespie, B. Holiday, Django, Satchmo, Leadbelly, Robert Johnson...), so unfortunately there also a few heavy (mis-)takes included. ;)

- Past concerts: one of the last "real concert" (except some small/private "living room gigs" at home during the pandemic) that took place in 21.04.2017 was a solo gig with    my "looper" at Griessmühle at the "Restfaktische Postrealitaet"-Party as "Hans J. Brox & The Art of the Steel" together with my dear old friend and long time-live-companion "FRAGMENTAL", with whom I played a lot of gigs in the past and who did the incredible visuals on Kirsten's mobile-vid-recording mentioned earlier on YT...;)

A Banda Invisível surgiu em 1998 com o intuito de promover o autoconhecimento,
unindo a música e a poesia para expressar um mundo oculto. Um mundo onde a essência e as
emoções sobrepujam os sentidos físicos e o amor reina onipotente.
As letras possuem um enfoque intimista, direcionadas para a espiritualidade, a filosofia e
o sofrimento causado pelo apego à matéria. Compondo músicas a partir das experiências
pessoais de seus integrantes, é utilizada uma linguagem de fácil compreensão e mensagens
profundas que conduzem o ouvinte a um momento de reflexão, na eterna busca pelo
autoconhecimento.
Inpirando-se na simplicidade e na harmonia para compor suas canções, a banda possui
como influências o rock nacional dos anos 80, o gothic rock e a darkwave,
Sua formação atual é: Marcus (Guitarra, voz e programação), João Paulo (Guitarra,
Teclado e programação).
Resgatar a grande irmandade e lutar por um mundo menos preconceituoso e
materialista são os objetivos da B.I, apelido gentilmente criado por um amigo e que acabou se
tornando uma de suas marcas mais conhecidas.
A banda já apresentou em quase todas as cidades do Distrito Federal e ainda Goiânia,
São Paulo, Curitiba e Rio de Janeiro. Possui duas demos gravadas: “O Essencial é Imperceptível
aos Olhos (1999)” e “Olhos (2002)”, e agora se prepara com o lançamento de seu próximo CD
“A Era da Percepção”.

As a group of passionate, versatile and talented close friends sharing our passion for music, we enjoy performing together and spreading our positive energy to create a dynamic atmosphere for our audiences at every event. Our reward is seeing people have a good time, enjoying the music, smiling, dancing and creating memories to be shared.

Consonance is a contemporary band that specialises in live music-entertainment, being able providing captivating, small acoustic sets to up to a 7-piece band. The band has a modern take to today’s crowd and harmonising many various forms of music, languages and cultures. We perform Western forms of Funk and R’n’B to Eastern Film chart-toppers, anywhere from 60’s classics to 90’s hits as well as today’s popular numbers! Our music is commonly performed in English, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada languages. 

Our band consists of talented and versatile artists who have performed in some premier venues and events all over Melbourne, interstate and overseas, along with well renowned artists of high calibre. Consonance hasn’t just been about music but is also a band that provides a quality performance which adapts and engages the crowd by bringing in it’s own vibrant twist to the music, to ensure each individual event is made unique and memorable!
