Originally from Miami FL, Rick began to DJ in '87. A decade later, he was introduced to House music while living in Atlanta. He was a resident for Starchildren, who had a long standing Friday night residency at Club Sol. He became a local favorite and was asked to work at Satellite Records, under Tommy Sunshine, where he held a part time job for several years. After a small hiatus and a move to Denver CO, he started a family and has now returned to his passion. His new mix series, "Unwind Your Mind", is influenced by the desire to be able to put aside your daily troubles and enjoy some music therapy. For a veteran chillout producer to successfully navigate the transition to sought-after producer / remixer and DJ within the Progressive House scene, is not an easy ask. But Nick Brennan a.k.a. Tripswitch has done just that – and with distinction. It was his Tripswitch ‘Vagabond’ album (Iboga Records, 2016) that cemented his highly rated status as a key dance producer beyond doubt. The album rose to the top of the Beatport charts, hitting #1 in Electronica and holding at #2 in Progressive House for 3 months.

Since then, a flawless resumé of releases on Bedrock, Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Movement, Balkan Connection, Flow Vinyl, Pure Progressive and many more creatively exciting labels, has seen Tripswitch’s progressive stock grow exponentially. Chart-topping collaborative studio projects with Nick Warren and Hernán Cattaneo, along with a huge bootleg remix of London Grammar’s ‘Rooting For You’, helped to propel him to the upper reaches of the production cosmos.

Tripswitch’s melodic, emotionally charged, proper progressive DJ sets at amazing events around the world have resulted him gaining a loyal and ever-growing global audience. In 2017 Nick launched his onedotsixtwo label, with its distinct forward-thinking proper progressive ethos. Impeccable curation and the remarkable smash single ‘Voight Kampff’ (courtesy of Tripswitch & Nick Warren) have already seen onedotsixtwo recognised as a ‘Vital Label’ by DJ Mag USA in 2019.

Never one to limit himself creatively, early 2020 saw Tripswitch release ‘Memento Mori’, his hugely anticipated first chillout album in 10 years.

Duo of DJs and music producers from Rosario, Argentina.
Abity comes from the combination of "Gravity" and "Hability" (gravity and ability), where this word combo expresses, from the origin of the duo, what they intend to express and transmit with their music in their performances: "The ability to travel through a constant groove that generates the sensation of dancing without gravity."
Their passion for music began at the age of 14, when they started taking mixing classes together, initially with vinyl. They began their DJ career at that moment, as they applied what they were learning in their classes by spinning at birthdays or gatherings with friends.
Finding inspiration in artists such as Luke Fair, Chris Fortier, Desyn Mansiello, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, and Sasha.

With 20 years of career, they are recognized artists in the national scene. In 2023, they shared the DJ booth with Paul Kalkbrenner and Edu Imbernon at La Estación, Eelke Kleijn at La Boite, Rafael Cerato at Boiler, and Juan Hansen at 4gets.
They participated in festivals such as Pachá BA with Jamie Jones, Guy Gerber, and Andrea Oliva; Zamna Festival in Mar del Plata with Guy Gerber, and Get Lost in BSAs with Damian Lazarus and Vintage Culture.
In 2022, they joined Artbat's tour with 2 performances in Córdoba and Mar del Plata. Additionally, they handed the DJ booth over to Joris Voorn at Palacio Alsina BsAs.
Before the pandemic, they had already shared the DJ booth with Nick Warren and Eelke Kleijn at The Soundgarden shows for three consecutive years.
Their productions have support from various artists around the world, such as Hernan Cattaneo & Nick Warren, their main influences. Their tracks are featured on major Progressive House labels like The Soundgarden, Outta Limits, Mango Alley, Armada Music Bundles, Clubsonica.
Additionally, they have their label MADDEN.Already a professional merger, solid and consolidated at the scene of Argentina, in 2009 the duo released their first EP of 4 tracks on the label BuenaMusica Recording, including one topic called KEEP quickly enter in TOP100 of the market recognized BEATPORT the coming to reach the post No. 16 in sales, surrounded by the best producers in the electronic music scene.
In 2010 his music grows even more editing on the prestigious Baroque Records, Remedy Records, ending with a major relaunch in Armada Records. Abity share cabin with great international djs like Paul Oakenfold, Arty, Sander Kleinenberg, Marco V, Tocadisco, John Acquaviva, King Unique, Andy Moor, Anthony Pappa, D-Nox and many more.
Locally, his sets are usually heard in the best clubs of the City of Rosario (Santa Fe) such as Lotus, Taura, Moore, Blue Velvet and international festivals. The great evolution of Abity leads to Buenos Aires where there have been delighted for hours to more than 4000 people per night in prestigious clubs like Pacha, Big One, Privilege, Club One, Caix, Sunset, and so on.
