Eric Dunks Duncan started DJ-ing in Manhattan’s Downtown bar and club circuit in the mid 90’s.
In 1996 he stepped out of the DJ booth to help curate music for the Girl Skateboards movie titled ‘Mouse’. 
A couple of years later, Eric along with Thomas Bullock formed the AfterHours party outfit ‘Rub-N-Tug’. 
In 2006 Eric & Liv Spencer started ‘Still Going’ releasing 2 singles on DFA Records including ‘Still Going Theme’ & ’Spaghetti Circus’ the later featuring the ultra talented Reggie Watts on vocals.
Eric Duncan aka Dr. Dunks has remixed as himself or as part of his collaborations:
Daniele Baldelli, Locosolus, Bryan Ferry, Robbie Williams, Laid Back, Grace Jones, Cold Play, Roxy Music, LCD Soundsystem, Canyons, TV Baby, Beastie Boys, Zero 7, Material, The Presets, Lindstrom, Doves, Todd Terje, Groove Armada & the list goes on. 
He is now relocated in Bali, Indonesia where he is a resident DJ at Potato Head Beach Club and works in the studio while ‘trying’ to learn how to surf in his spare time :)

Robert Babicz has been redefining the boundaries of electronic music since the early 1990s. His unique artistry encompasses sound, vision, emotion and spirituality. From releasing and performing acid techno as Rob Acid, to his role as a highly-sought after producer and studio wizard infusing technical perfection with deep emotion, to his striking photos, everything Robert does expresses his desire to celebrate beauty and humanity, and to live each moment with utmost consciousness. Robert's art and philosophy are so distinctive there's a word for it: Babiczstyle.

We at Saturo Sounds came up with an idea for a show where the respective DJ has 90 minutes to create a soundtrack that reflects their home listening taste in music, to go beyond their standard DJ set and be more creative with songs/tracks that are their own personal favourites, a 'Back To Mine' kinda vibe!

REVERIE - An Excursion into an Envisioned Mind - Excursion 1

It was an honor to be invited for the first installment of REVERIE with host Nick Denny. Be sure to listen to his set as well it's brilliant and if you enjoy these be on the lookout for future installments upcoming with 2 different Saturo residents each time. A new episode will air every on the 5th Monday of every month that has one.

The idea of this series is to create a "Back to Mine" type mix of stuff that you love, but wouldn't normally play in a DJ set. Hope you enjoy. Just a warning I went a little over the top on movie samples, but it just felt right so I went with it.

REVERIE - Collaroy Beach Chill Out Set

My new DJ mix is part of REVERIE. The shows' ethos is to create a home-listening experience. It took me 3 months to prepare & research, spending all my spare time shortlisting around 500 tracks and then whittling that down to create a set of 2 hours. To my surprise I managed to get a first draft completed within 12 hours on Saturday 22nd August (all that time prepping and it only took a day to get my initial vision in physical form). It comprises of around 40 tracks, so a track every 3 minutes on average. That wasn't the final product though as I have spent every day last week editing it, changing small parts to create something I am more happy with, although the original tracks selected and order of play did not change. 8 drafts later and on Friday 28th August I was finally happy with the set. It truly is a labour of love and something I have always had in the back of my mind but never attempted to bring into fruition. I have never attempted to create a mix on this scale before. My attitude has always been all in or don't bother and this mix needed my full attention. It has stressed me out like you would not believe, even affecting my appetite for 2 days this past week. It has always been on my mind these past 7 days, hence the number of edits and drafts made. It is something I do not want to attempt again, well, not for at least a number of years anyway.
There is lots of dialogue used from various sources so I hope you have fun recognising and guessing where each sample comes from.
I would really like some 'honest' feedback. Maybe I have over-thought it, who knows, so your comments are welcomed. There are a lot of knowledgeable people who I respect and hold in high regard; people who have inspired me on my musical journey with their DJ set creations, Youtube track posts in groups, but especially on Saturo over the years and most notably on Residents Days when something leftfield was always on the cards.
