With warmer, sunnier days finally in sight, we kicked off May with an incredible burst of energy and amazing events. The Rompecaderas icon @iindigo505 made their debut in Göttingen for our beloved "La Popular," alongside our dear @azulitx. On the very same day, our raptor house prince @bnyiii delivered a stunning debut at Panke, sharing the stage with an exceptional lineup. Meanwhile, @deep-code-966906076 keeps making waves with the release of DESKOLOKE! and celebrated their first streamed performance on NTS. @simonjava also proudly presented a screening of their visual project at the Bonn Videonale. 

Matching the heat of these exciting updates, we’re thrilled to present our next session: a captivating bass journey curated by this month’s guest, @yo-lee-sound.

Drawing influence from the bass-heavy sounds of Abya Yala, Miami, and the UK, Yo Lee defines herself as a DJ, curator, and connector within these vibrant scenes. Based in Leipzig, she has played a vital role in bringing bass music into important conversations while championing events rooted in diversity and an intersectional perspective.

Our featured PIVETE RADIO guest DJ, JADA, is based in Hamburg, Germany and known for her versatile selecting skills and her cultural impact as a curator and event organizer. Influenced by her Brazilian heritage, her experience as a ballroom artist and freestyle dancer, curates spaces that celebrate music and identity in all forms. Her DJ journey took off with a powerful debut at Boiler Room, quickly gaining international attention for her distinct style and boundary-pushing approach to club music.

PIVETE RADIO aims to globally expand its footprint from LA to BH and beyond. For episode 04, Jada says, "I felt inspired by highlighting my favorite baile funk sounds and edits with my own spicy y2k flavor."
