Tiësto, recently named "Greatest DJ of All-Time" by Mixmag, combines forces with fellow Dutchman and fast rising star, Hardwell.  Their collaboration here on "Zero 76" is a monumental production, fusing each artists' style to create an early contender for tune of 2011.

Tiësto and Hardwell both hail from Breda, Netherlands and the title Zero 76 is a nod to their home town's area code.  Hardwell explains, "Being born and raised in Breda, Tiësto's hometown, I always felt a certain pride when others mentioned his name.  When meeting him for the first time, last year in Ibiza, we had an instant click that lead to this cooperation."

 

As if their country couldn't be any more proud of them, this co-production is as big as it gets. Las Vegas native and LIGHT Nightclub resident Stellar has shown incredible versatility in his production, going from techno infused joints to progressive and now...dubstep infused trap. "Fresh Like Me" is at its core, a trap song, but with the added saddle of aggressive dubstep bass. This sprawling, deep saw bass gives the song weight as it lazily spirals around a lean back beat and tight drum rolls. The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about the collaboration from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so we got into the studio together and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.”
 
A delicious slice of skewed electronica with ‘fist-pump’ written all over it, this titan of a track packs as much energy as it does technical class; crashing bass sections, warped synths and a huge breakdown combining the strengths of both production elements in one fell swoop. ‘Mammoth’ displays the extensive array of musical influences that these two world-renowned acts are constantly drawing their inspiration from, fusing everything together seamlessly for an anthem that will surely be an enormous smash in clubs and at festivals all over the world throughout 2013. To put it plainly, it’s going to be MAMMOTH!
