"Raw Charles” was a little sketch I had going last year, and when I finished the “Here Come The Bastards Remix” for Primus I wanted to add something truly ridiculous at the end, so I asked Les if I could include a random piece of one of my songs on it as like an unexpected bonus of sonic brutality. For us, the beauty about the Future is the endless possibilities it holds. In essence, it's a blank canvas waiting to be painted on. We'd love nothing more than to 'build' and 'make' a Future that's all our own. That means doing everything ourselves from scratch, bringing the hand of the artist back. So as we've been building a studio in the backyard and working on our live show, we wanted to start this new "Future Nites" series of remixes and originals with an eye on creating music for these live performances. We added a marimba to the live set, and can't wait to get some more analog gear into the studio so we can take these Future Beats to the next level.

It's been a fun ride for us putting all our heart and soul into this new project, so we hope this song takes you on an equally epic journey. As summer turns to fall, and day turns to night, we hope that you'll paint these empty canvases of endless possibilities with us. Note about the Song: We actually first heard the song via Monsieur Adi’s Remix and thought it was awesome but were curious to hear the original, so we checked it out and loved Say Lou Lou's original but thought there was still room for a really upbeat version with our progressive indie flare (we hate the word flare). What really appealed to us about Say Lou Lou was they have this renegade softness, its sorta punk but not, that makes no sense right, but there is sort of care-free beautiful nature to there voices and we thought we could make a summer anthem with this baby, or die trying (side note: at no point were we close to death in the making of this remix) So we got the stems, and wanted to create something that really screams 'let me in I want to fucking dance, but I also brought my own beer.'  So here is how we did it:
