This is a mix of some music I've made on hardware, a proof of concept for an alternate workflow for playing original material. Instead of creating and mixing fully produced tracks, or rigging together a live setup, I record a ton of stems from individual machines--kicks, percussion loops, synth lines, etc--and use a 4 channel controller to arrange them live into a single narrative. The component fragments are crafted individually, without preconceptions about how they should interact, and my intention is to find ways to fit them together into a cohesive mosaic.
