Born in 1996, Hari Maia is a Brazilian film composer/producer who works primarily with soundtracks — especially horror, thriller, and sci-fi — as well as synthesizer-driven, electronic, and ambient music.

He previously released several albums as a noise project, featuring an aggressive and abrasive sound reinforced by heavily distorted vocals.

Currently, Hari Maia approaches music with a cinematic mindset, whether he is scoring a real film or creating a solo album inspired by an imaginary story or scene.

His debut concept album, Haunted Place, was based on an imaginary thriller/horror story he created.

He is also a lo-fi producer, releasing chill beats for study and sleep under the name Deep In A Dream.
