'When we were asked to play Little Fields - we honestly had no idea what to expect… But this little fezzy in its first year turned out to be something truly special.

We were welcomed with opened arms and you can really feel that when you listen to this back… A 90-minute extract taken from the intimate settings of the Secret Lab stage mid-way the Discotech takeover on Sunday afternoon.

The sound, technical set up and turntable isolation was spot on - and we felt more than comfortable to nip around through different styles and play stuff that we hadn’t had a chance to play out yet. Everyone on the dance floor was just as receptive to the summery early 00’s prog records as they were to the fun and rollery minimal/breaky bits.

Pintai returns with its third release, coming courtesy of Switzerland based artist, Pango, in the shape of the ‘Helio’ EP.

Pango’s new release delves into deep, layered emotions—evoking mystery, wonder, and awe. Each track is a careful exploration of contrast: raw textures meet refined sound design, while contrasting sonic elements interlock to create immersive, textured soundscapes. Intricate, organic percussion anchors the compositions with a sense of momentum, driving the music forward with rhythm as detailed as it is dynamic.
The result is a collection that feels both exploratory and intentional—offering moments of tension, release and immersion.

Opening the release is title-track ‘Helio’, a dropped tempo journey drifting through hazy textural tones, an organic rhythm section, fluttering resonant synth tones and cossetting low-end swells all subtly nuanced throughout. ‘Christilist’ follows and picks up the tempo while stripping things down rhythmically to raw, reduced drums while an amalgamation of dubbed out stab sequences and weight subs dynamically wind through the hypnotic groove.

‘Faehtar’ opens the B-side next with bumpy bass hits and crisp, saturated percussion running alongside unfurling, cinematic strings and airy chords. ‘Wardal’ then concludes the release, diving deep via choppy bass notes, jazzy keys, intricately bubbling synth melodies and a bouncy drum groove.

Armenian DJ and producer MakhmuriaN joins the Songuara family with a powerful club-focused single, “Dance With Me” – a driving piece of organic house crafted for true prime time. With over a decade of experience in DJing and production, MakhmuriaN is one of the central figures of the Armenian progressive scene. He is the founder of the Dialogue Room project, which curates intimate yet forward-thinking events in his hometown of Yerevan. His music has been released on respected imprints such as Mango Alley, RKP Recordings, Moovement Recordings and more, while on stage he has shared the booth with Ruben Karapetyan, Guy Mantzur, DJ Ruby, Space Motion, D-Formation, Chus, among others.
With “Dance With Me”, MakhmuriaN takes another confident step forward – delivering a club weapon designed for those moments when the crowd is fully locked in and ready to go all the way with the music.
